I hope he doesn't think i've used a bot. I never have. I tried to reply, but when i pressed Enter, the reply never sent.

Some player do this trick, they write something and start the new line as [GM]...
But if someone uses the trick, you can't click on the name [GM]Crayon to reply!

Did you type in [GM]Crayon, or could you reply?

What I find completely odd about these messages is that there is no obvious negative reason for this.

I did nothing except tried to see if the supplied email address did or didn't work (didn't), so am still wondering what this one was about.

It's obviously not a real GM>.<
Someone could just easily make another account calling it IceMilk, or probably changed the letter "L" to a capital letter "i" to make it look like a little letter "L"...GMs don't message like that:/ So you better be careful, it could be one way of getting hacked :!:

As for the author of this thread, no it's Ass_face pm'ng u...the hint there is the little indent before the word "[GM]". If it was a real GM, it's supposed to be aligned.

Of course I realise it isn't a real [GM], it's just that in previous instances of these types of approaches there was attempts made to be added to msn or some such, and then asking for PW and Username info etc

There has been no further contact, and it's just a weird one.

Maybe that person got account banned before being able to do what they intended? I doubt I'll ever know but it sure is a nice thought  There's a few ksers I'd go say hi to, and then go visit every botter I've come to know in my time here

24k guild on troy scammed most if not all their lower level sos items with that GM trick. Scaring the living shit out of innocent 2x -> 4x.

Fine if your going to use it, just don't abuse it.

( It's still an offense to impersonate a GM )

It's also an offense to bot, buy & sell gold, use glitches, modify the client, etc...

Well...

GM will never..EVER pm you, they will always write using their
pink text (which the entier server can see, like gobal chat but better).

and if they want to talk to you they will just use this pink text method
but call you by name.
The next time someone pm's you pretending to be a GM just tell them to
go f**k themselves...or better send in the screenshot of it (if you take
one) to joymax/silkroadonline bug report and try to get them banned.

they really did that? u know.. if u have proof, forward it to joymax. GM impersonations can result in a ban.

i would love to see oo24koo go bye-bye. if the GMs wont ban him for botting, at least ban him for something else..
