I've never been stupid enough to kill one so I'm not sure of the consequences. Anyone know?

AFAIK, if you attack one it will explode and kill you.

I guess the penalty is DEATH.

I mean the exact penalty. % of exp lost/SP lost and so on.

same as mob death.

many a time people have been jackasses, popping these up in cape/job/wars and tournaments (like the DJ vs Fly / tsaron vs sui tourny)

if you have an organised even and peopel are doing this just haev a newbie char whack it and res them, gets them outta the way.

better then murdering a fool in front of 200 people watching DJ and Fly fight and running for dear life ;P

I was hoping you lose like 10%... Would be great for deleveling.

And right now there's a weird guy that was been in my stall for around 20 minutes and I'm starting to feel nervous. He's just... watching.

delevelling, helps if you have a dude nearby with good res who's willing to help out.

delevelled my res recently, it can still do up to 29 i think, good enough for poor newbies and farmers

There is chance of dropping items also......
Useful for clearing Karakoram, i got a special universal pill earlier today hehe

I delevel from LVL18 to LVL14 repeatedly which takes awhile. Noob ressers usually get tired and demand payment before the task is done; which forces me to scam them then hire another guy.

Alps is so incompetent.

That's a risk in every type of death.

It sucks that it only works on noobs and not bots. And by noobs, I mean even players that are already lvl 35 I've seen attack it.
Before, they use to disappear immediatly after it was attacked, but now they stick around a little bit longer.

Lol, once I saw one hovering around in a bush, except I could only see the name "squirrel" needless to say, I was amazed to find out that squirrels could be attacked, so I attacked it, and died.

I should have realized something was wrong when I saw that it didn't even have a name or owner.

I love these things.. To bad you can only buy a 5 at a time.. I have killed about 30 bots this week!

Timer isn't a big deal. I just log out and log back in and its ready to go!

You can use them to kill some pixel-detecting bots but packet bots are immune.
