Uruchi Is A Wimp?

Post by ziddy1232 »

Earlier i was stood right near Uruchi and she wouldn't attack me...
She later chased me around the bandit stronghold.

I was the first to see her and one of the first to attack her and strangly, i did'nt get hit once.

Heres an edited video of the whole thing :

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eqwlofKwd_g

(I have only just uploaded it so if it does not work, try again later)

I also have screenshots of me surviving, and im only lvl 40.
My wolf was in the action too, he was hit once... then they left him alone.

Was it just mu lucky day? Or was i a born Uruchi hunter :D

What happened to your hat lol?

You didn't get hit cuz you were so far away and all monsters attack the person doing the most damage.

Yeah when I first saw him I got totally killed too lol

Uniques are fun, if you have to run away use either a phantom run or your arrow keys, if you click the floor and a spawn appears it can be pretty hard to target the unique again, especially from 50% health downwards.

I always use the arrow keys anyway, its a better method.
What lvl are you now and what lvl were you when you first saw him?

In the video, when you saw me running... i was running for about a minute before somebody attacked him.

Then like the wimp i am, i went and atacked him lol

Do you use the arrows for everything, that'd drive me nuts.

A long time ago on my other character, I was 42 with a glaive and it must have spawned in the dead ravine and somehow passed unnoticed cuz I was at the headless monsters near DW when it just casually walked right past me and I laid into it, I lasted till about 75% then the spawns came and they owned me badly lol

I killed him at 53 and 56 though.

I got to 69 with that character but he was badly made, under farmed and I wasn't gonna farm the 100k+ sp I needed in that crappy cave with a glaive.

So I started an int instead about 4 months ago, I got to 52 pretty quick, I think it was a month exactly with a gold ticket and no gap, much easier with nukes and I've been farming a -9 gap for almost 3 months, I got to 60 today and I'm almost done, then I'll try and get to 70 asap hopefully before the caps up.

I have a 6 lvl gap but its too late to SP farm now so i will get it too a 9 lvl differance then just kill as normal.

During the unique glitch the other day i killed tiger girl, but for some reason i only got 300 exp!

And no, i hav'nt always used bow... i used to be blade

I got to 48 and left my skills there so I gradually increased the gap every level until I had a -9 at 57. You don't have to farm at 16 in the bandit den, you can do it at 5x on the ice, lots of monsters and they spawn great too. I can still get 2000 sp with my ticket, it's harder to do than it was in my early 50's but still good, plus the gold and drops are much better than they are in the bandit den and best of all you don't have to keep delevelling all the time back to 16.

I was farming at 36 on the devil flowers, now im over in hotan training my wolf on Bunwangs and im getting quite a lot of SP but not alot of exp... probably because of the 4 lvl gap.

Hi, sorry to hijack this thread a bit but Mamba, do you play more than 3 hour during that time to get to 52? I am starting over and wondering how fast it would take to lvl up with zero gap and a gold ticket (playing only 3 hour ticket time a day). Thanks

I played nearly all day up to about 42, after that the exp without a scroll became a bit depressing so I just stuck to the 3 hours again.

From what I remember I think I got to 16 the first day, 24 by the 2nd, 28 by the 3rd then I got the nukes on the 4th day and I got to 42 on the 9th day, just using npc gear for most of it too, I only started buying better stuff towards the late 40's. I could have got to 52 in less time than I did if I kept grinding scrolless.

I didn't buy a gold ticket until 24, I used a 1 day one for the 600 chakji quest, seemed like a perfect time for it and then I bought one at 24.

The thing with ints is if your careful you can 2 shot stuff 5 or even 6 levels above you so you can forget the quests and level up really really quick, I did the yeowa quests cuz the drop rate is so good for those and the 1000 flowers when I could 1 shot them.

I'm sick of seeing the ice though, it's been almost 3 months but I'm finishing after this weeks ticket ends.

Once I'm 70 I'm gonna make a good guide on getting to 52 in a month as an int and ending up damn strong too, including what quests to skip and what to farm and when, it should be a good read :D

If your just doing your 3 hours though, it shouldn't take more than a month or so. I slowed down a hell of a lot once I got to 42, I didn't play some days.

Oh yeah and the big trick is, use bows (sos ones if you can afford them) to get you to 30 it's soooo much faster than anything else, you save up the curst hearts from level 20 and delevel the bow stuff once your 30 and spend the sp on your nukes etc, I had about 305 curst hearts when I hit 30.
