I have heard about it/her/him all over the forum.

What is it and where does it spwan? what lvl is is? i want all the details.

Its like a level 100 boss, it spawns on Roc Mountain accessible from the east asian Mountain area. It is not yet implemented in any version of SRO, but last Dec hackers got into the GM accounts of SRO and force spawned him near Don. That is why there are pics of him.

THere really arent any more details than that.

Trust me, when they raise the cap in KSRO and he spawns, Ill get the vid. lol

cant you peopel see what ROC is....its a Phoenix...it looks like one
and if it is from east asian Mountain area..that means that it has to be
a phoenix.

Actually, Bird Roc is not a phoenix. It has it's own mythology, as the phoenix has it's own. It's supposed to be a "huge eagle" who carried away with ships etc.


It has appeared on Sindbad, 1001 nights tales and more.
In the 16th century, the fact that Roc birds existed was "common knowledge" in europe

Anyway, back on topic.

When i was fighting Golden Spiders somebody said they saw a bird and a group of lvl 52+ went running off into the 'woods' from hotan.
I wonder if that was something like the thing Nightbloom had got owned by...

actually, when i was looking at sro european magazenses, one of the background pictures was roc. i remember specifically because i saw roc myself in xian last year when the hackers spawned him. [/code]

Well since Alleyez is on that pic, i asume this screenie of ROC was the one he took by using his packet software, which means he would need to disable gameguard, and currently there are 2 ways of disabling software:

1. Making your own modified GameGuard server

2. Using SoftMod that also allows you to zoom out with no limit.
(no limit is true, i tried softmod and stood in hotan, i zoomed out all the way to Takla Makan and explored it :p )

So it all makes sence

There was no gameguard when Roc was spawned.
