selling stolen goods

I have never been a thief. I focus mainly on trading. But i was thinking about being a thief, and i wasnt sure if i can sell stolen goods in town, or if there is a special place i have to go to sell them?
i know, its a noob question. but i have never been a thief before...so i am noob to thieving...

look on the city map of Jangan. Near the West gate, kinda South is the thief NPC who teleports you to theif town. Go there, buy a suit and theif town teleport scrolls. When you have loot in your camel, set off a tele scroll. It's slow, takes 5 minutes to tele you. When you get to thief town, sell your goods.

SHHH!!! You gotta be real sneaky about this thieving thing. Here's what you do...
1)kill about 50 random mobs as to not alert anyone of your true intentions.
2)walk into Jangan on the EAST side.
3)go around town talking to NPCs and stalls. again you DO NOT want to look suspicious.
4)when NOBODY is looking, sneak around to the west side of town. MAKE SURE YOU ARE NOT FOLLOWED!!
5)there's this chick named Yumi in a damp, dark back alley of Barrom St. She's smoking a cigarette and looks very UNsuspicious (which you should be also)
talk to her. she'll help you out.
and rememeber, you DID NOT hear this from me!!
