Hi, im not very active in silkroad forums, i just like to wish all my friends that played silkroad with me since alpha test the best luck and many sos's .. for all my xian friends (Nightmare guild) and all the others .. to my friends in Greece server (NoF3ar guild and Vi3tE_4ever) ... good luck all

heres a bit of my story, i played in last week of alpha test, gone to beta test where i made many chars... but the higher lvl was 42.. then i quited it .. and i created a full int wich was lvl 65 now :\.. well... then some of my friends moved to Greece server... i gone to and created str glaive that was lvl 68 by today ... well.. it was good while it last.. yes i tried bot.. but it was 5 months ago (no flame plz) and im not happy that i made it..
today.. i get home from school... i update my silkroad... i enter game... i go cave to my usual room... i start training .. since im almost 69 and i wanted to it cap before the raise... well i was even talking to other player in same room... suddenly i get dced.... when i try to relog.. it says im blocked until 2106 ..

sorry for the long post.. but i had to write this

ps: all greece server players... leave that server while u can.. theres some ppl there u alrdy know about that want the server only for them.

You got dc-ed in caves and now you got baned? Did you e-mail joymax or suttin to see what was up?

there is no email for joymax is there? i remember trying to get my account back ages ago, no luck

I have decided to switch over to Lineage II..
Heard that the graphic in there is nicer and the people also more CULTURE than SRO.loooooooooooool(just kidding)

estava na cave a jogar normalmente.. so estava 1 gajo na sala comigo.. de repente levo dc .. knd tento entrar diz ke tou blokeado... boa merda... tinha o char do xian na mesma acc...


if someone knows joymax email .. i would apreciate.. cause i want at least try to understand what hapenned

There is a email to joymax, but you can't email them using your own service, they have a online e-mail system here: http://www.joymax.co.kr/joymax_eng/cont ... /email.asp

well no offense you did try bot a while ago thats where yo made this mistake they may be slow but they wil catch you with you

anyways... i love see joymax working ... when i was going to my usual training spot ... i passed the 1st power earth room .. and i see those guolongs_00 , zenyus__00 like i usually do ... and none bans them ... guess why .. because their "profitable"... and not to mention they didnt even whisper/ talk to me like they usually do (at least what i see from other banned players)

I was wondering about that - what if you get a C++ runtime error just when GM comes to visit? I mean I've gotten really random crashes out of nowhere. Talk about major suckage!

i was thinking just the same. im getting a freeze screen bug (i still hear the game but no image refresh) what if a GM find me like that...
well anyways there still a ton of botts around tarim basin, and they are so obiusly botts.
ps.: i think they are banning the small botters but no action against big botters, the ones that use multiple accounts conections computer and bott mainly to sell the gold at ebay

Played Lineage][ since the alpha / beta.. (Sieghardt server)
Switched to Private Servers later on, was fun and all, got bored (again), became a GameMaster after that (got bored yet again). I decided I wanted something new, became a Support Helper, then finally a Network helper, supporting developer (Some simple NPC scripting, restarting the servers when they crashed / were in the need of a reboot).
Later on I became a Head GameMaster, after a few months I noticed that I couldn't get any higher / do anything else .

So I quit and started playing Silkroad >< ...

When you got DC'ed, did you get

A) ???? Error
B) Runtime error
C) "Disconnected from Server" message

If A or B it could have happened when a GM was nearbye. Bot program has option to DC when it sees a GM or the GM enters a room. GMs know that; those users get banned.

If 'C' its likely the GM disconnected you himself.

since you tried the bot is y you got baned it takes tim but they get all the botters wether or not it was for 5 min or all the time you played

If that was true, you don't think ChinaTown and Duck_Club would be banned yet?

sounds like they can tell if you used a bot program even in the past

good news if thats the case

bad news for those who only botted the first few levels and then changed their mind about how they wanted to play this game

like i said it takes time some cases get pulled up before others some may never get pulled up to see if ppl botted. it happened in maple a guy who was like lvl 15x was banned after 4 years of playing and he boted his first year only and others get the boot 2 days of playing. and it is true they do favor silk bots they proly get banned but not till they squezee the money first

Some of the people on the bot forums are quite angry (reading their whining is fun). It appears to be bot related and JM is catching on. I'm hoping for another big ban list.

someone told me they implamented a program in the KSRO that banned like 80% of botters and we should be getting the same update when the lvl cap rasies

Well this is'nt really according to the topic, but a friend of mine bought silk with his visa, and the bank had some errors during the day, so it did a chargeback and paid the money back a few hours later.

Anyway, when he tried to log on later, he was banned due to chargeback.
He contacted Joymax, and they refused to unban him or even refund the money.

yea that happened to a guild mate of mine but they actaully told him he could get it back but he had to contact someone else some other divison of JM who sorted there money and talk to the credit card company. but it just became a headach so he gave up.

Botting guild...

Although most of the time I run into a few conflicts with Shuryu, he's the only one that really talks at all. I haven't seen him botting but for sure some of his guildmates are notorious botters.

Those three (guolong_10? and zenyu_08 zenyu_10) bot 24/7 in the large strong/power earth ghost rooms.

On what basis can we determine that you were not using a bot? Your post saying you didnt? I would say that only 10% of the lvl 60+ players dont use a bot. So you are probably just pissed off because you got caught.

You had one lvl 65 char and then you made a new char which was lvl 68 when it got banned? No sane person would ever do all that grinding manually again.

Im pretty sure the Greece server was not online 5 months ago. And also, from the way your post is written, i would say you should stay in school and stay off sro.

mmm, seems like if u grind in caves u get banned?
