Shoutbox ?

O.K I don't know in which Forum this belongs so I'll post it here.
Would it be possible to implement a shout box into the forums ? So SRF would be more interactive ?
I was thinking of this, cuz I usually see "XXXXXX is browsing the forums" but no1 "talking". Would implementing a shoutbox make sense ? I've seen it on 1 forum till now and it's actually pretty nice imo...

Lose the annoying font.
Shoutbox would just get spammed up with flames.

It's more like size than font.

Something to keep in mind:
1. New layout
2. Spam
3. Flame

While fully customizable, all of that would have to be hand coded MySQL work. And any file on the board that uses those MySQL table will have to be hand edited.
So how bout... errr....
Anywho. I was on a forum once with a reputation system similar to the one I am looking at possibly installing. However, you could do cool things like spend your reputation on a custom title, colors, and more.
Pretty neat. Just to let you know what we don't have.
