Key-J is Recruiting.

As we all know, here at SRF we have a huge variety of different people, who all contribute to the forums in their own way. Each person comes from a different place in the world, is of a different age and contributes strongly in different areas. This is partly what makes SRF what it is.
So now I’m asking for your help SRF members. As we all know SRF is home to one of the most popular SRO related threads to date. The
Mother Of All Future Updates thread. However unfortunately it is not yet perfect, as most of the updates are in Korean, and many people, including me cannot read Korean and can only look at the images. However this is where you come in, I’m looking for a Korean to English translator. So as to give us, the people who don’t understand Korean the ability to take full advantage of this thread.
The requirements are as follow:
Must be very strong, if not fluent in both Korean and English.
Willing to spend time translating large sums of text.
Willing to meet deadlines for submitting translations.
Willing to work with another translator.
Please let me know below if you are interested in the position. I will select 1-3 translators depending on replies so that the work load is reduced for each person.
I know some of you may be asking, “why go through all the trouble, Just use an Internet translator”. Well the fact is that free internet translators for Korean are extremely poor in translating text and some of the text is in image forum, thus it cannot be translated.
Remember this is not just for me, but for every SRF member and also every SRO member who knows this thread. Each person will be given full credit for their hard work and dedication, and will become part of the to be created “Update Team”. I hope that I will strike the willingness to help within some of our members here at SRF.
Thnx to
snowmunkey91 for helping out and becoming the first translator.
Sincerely,
Key-J

Now if only they wouldn't freak out on us, I'd make an exact copy
of ksro's site and just put the translations there.

Dude, its not like im asking you to translate the entire KSRO website, its just some text like a page at a time, i dont want to dissrupt your work or anything at all, and of course you would be given ample time to complete the translations.
What do you say reconsider? Im sure SRF would really want you to, Right SRF?
All you would need to do is the translation, all the editing will be taken care of by me

Well, What would i have to give you? an e-cookie?

?
Honestly it would be the feeling of helping out thousands of players around the world. If i had something to give you i would, are you on babel?
Honestly what you would get is the thnx of thousands of users, and would be well renowned in SRF if not also SRO. Mainly this is something of good will, help yourself by helping others. That kind of thing.
However if you really want something out of it, let me know what it is and ill work on it. Do it through MSG if you want to keep it private. Just remember no RLmoney/cars or assortet computer parts

Noone here has performed me any noteworthy services and I don't see why I should be 'giving back' to the community that has yet to give something to me.
And I'd like to point out that the topic is 'Key-J is hiring' which is rather misleading.

Guess my impression was right.
If you are so fluent as you say, how long would translating take? 10-20min out of your day? O GOD NO! We apologize for any inconvenience this might cause you. >___________________________________>

As a said, the topic title was misleading.
And I will stress the potential value of my service; I visit Korea on an annaul basis and with enough personal reputation of my own, I may be able to secure an interview or Q&A sessions with representatives from JoyMax on SRF's behalf. Not many translators can offer that I think.

Definition of Hiring:In American English, it refers to the act of recruitment, usually of personnel.
In British English, it can also refer to the act of renting (borrowing for a fee).
In this case it is in the context of American English since no staff on the forum are paid for the service of working here, you would however be made part of an exclusive group of members and have the knowledge of knowing you have helped the thousands of members that visit the forum on a daily basis. (This for me is enough to secure my services here

)

Its true.. We dont have a way to pay you, but if you would let me know what you desire maybe we can work around it. Demanding the unknown is worse than saying nothing.
Also yes when i said hiring, i mean as voulunteer. I mean look at Ryoko he is hosting this site with his own money. Hes not asking us to pay or anything, yet he does it out of his own willingness. Us mods as FFG said, we do all the MODing out of our willingness. We arent paid for out services but its our willingness to help. When Ryoko asks you to become a MOD you can easily refuse but no its our priveledge to help SRF as we know its viewed by thousands of players and it is renowned as the best SRO forums around, thus we know that we helped towards that name.
So before getting so judgemental, tell us what it is that you desire? and honestly translating a page of text... 10-20 mins i dont think that would be so bad? I mean if it was in spanish i would gladly Translate all.
Remember all you would have to do is translate, send me the translation via email or MSG, i will do all the editing and posting. Remember also i will try to get more than just one translator, so that the workload is reduced, but really like a page a WEEK, i think that seems really reasonable, if to reasonable i can make it like a page every 2-3 days. Its not like im asking you for a page per hour or 2.
So think about it honestly, think of the people you would be helping
