Hello, I am currently a lvl 32 nuker and have a couple questions. My question is in regard to the Fire Protection Series and the Fire Shield Series. As a Nuker which skill do we need if any? I assume since I use a spear that the Fire Shield is useless? But you nukers out there which do you invest in, at what lvl, and how far do you go with it, 2nd book, etc.

While I have you here how do you de level a "level" of a mastery. I know you can use the cursed hearts to delevel like flame body or whatever but how do delevel the actual level of the mastery...like say ice is lvl 14 how do you lower it down 13? Thank you!


Edit...I am getting owned by people with ice, they freeze me and get in close and with the low hp as a pure int I am screwed. How do I defeat these people?

You have to delevel all skills on that level before you can delevel the actual mastery. For example, you have ice at level 8 and have the ice buff. You must get rid of the level 8 ice buff. Then you will have an option to level down the mastery.

Fire should be your main mastery as a nuker. Fire imbue > *. Get the fire buff. If you want to use the fire shield series as a spear nuker, keep a shield on you, equip it, use the buff, unequip. If you are getting frozen, get freezing reduce on all your jewelry with alchemy.
