lol wow the gm asked a dumb question. A guy just spammed global complaining about lag and then he comes out of nowhere and says "are u guys getting any lag?".....WELL NO SHIT WE'RE GETTING LAG! DID IT TAKE U SO DAM LONG TO FIND OUT???

Well, i guess Pizza didn't want to ban someone paying his salary...

But, the point still remains, bash the GMs for whatever reason fine, but racial remarks are just disrespectful and should not be tolerated.

I myself and desentisized to a lot of stuff and it's that it "bothers" me, because "sticks and stones ...", but in regards to the game, sends a bad message if that stuff is allowed.

Well I don't really get it.. codon says something abusive, and the gm says something of it. (-.-)". And well.. it was like a good thing the crayon asked about the lag as not everybody was having it like me ;o!.

I love insulting GM's with globals. :> But I'm boycotting silk again, cause they provoke me with their shitty block lists .

Not at all times...there have been many times when i read union chat and everyone there is complaining about lag while im playing smoothly, and there are only times when im super lag and everybody's saying "i have no lag, and im on dial up!"

guess GM didn't realize that lag varies, could be ur internet connection...could be that there are some other programs running in your computer, could be that you need to reboot computer, etc etc...

Seconds. You can alwasy tell "notices" and when the GM is actually on, well at least I can, the way things are phrased give it away. (I.e. GMs are alwasy on at server opening asking about lag, item mall, etc.. That's a dead give away it's actually them and not all server wide notice)

Depends, some areas of the map get really bogged down and everyone will lag. I.e. if GM makes an announce at where they will be. They were looking for that type of lag.

Looks like GMs have balls after all. Tonight GM appeared on Xian and also threatened flamers to be banned

Then others started swearing at the GM (ummmm lilazian?)

So then HE was blocked. The gm said "lilaziaboyz you are the weakest link. Goodbye".

Don't think it was permanent but definitely pissed the kid off.

Then the gm said something in all caps, like "FOR THE LAST DARN TIME, WE DON'T CARE IF BOTS BUY SILK"

nice job GMs! Its a start. If they keep it up it will make a big difference.

I'm hoping for a weekly ban list. Name and shame EVERYONE.

Besides that, they could make like in one other game, crucifide all botters chars to one special area and other players could go there and throw eggs and stuff at the botters. After while no-one remembers banned botter names but if they're up there crucifided, they will not be forgotten Or maybe just crucifide those that are in the most recent ban list and replace crucifide chars every time new ban list is made.

how would YOU act if every time you went into work all you had was people running around with bullhorns screaming curses at you, calling you worthless, and describing themselves as getting your family members and household pets in compromising positions? if it were me, i'd be generous w/ the banstick too, and i wouldn't give a rat's ass what people thought about it. anyone who is going to disrespect them doesn't deserve to be allowed to play anyway. those losers can all eat it. 10pts., whatever GM that was. in my opinion, they should be MORE liberal w/ banning people, as much for ToA violations as for disrespect, disgusting globals, etc.



if nothing else, it'd reduce lag and time trying to connect :P
