Me and a guildmate decide to go on a thief run, after finding some stuff on the ground and going our own way. we run across some high lvl hunter, he kills my friend cuz he was a thief and lucky for me i had no suit on. so anyway..
this guy removes his hunter suit and runs out of the picture. 2 min later he comes back with a trader suit on, i guess he put that accidently or he was using his daddy's account. he trys to pick up the stuff but he couldnt of course. he runs away from the picture again, and 1 min later comes back this time with a thief suit on picks up our 4star and runs away.
At this point, i ask my guildmate wtf is going on, how can he change suits so far, what about the timelimit? so at lvl 36 i find out that if you disconnect your job suit time limit expires and you can suit up for a different job.
instead of trying to fix the bugs in the game, they try to enhance its graphics, ha thats too funny.

What's the point of this story? You job time limit resets if you disconnect, tele, return scroll, or use a ferry. Has been like that forver.

this is not really a bug. He either crossed ferries after he took of his suit or restarted.

i was going to say that after he was going to answer
but yeah this is no bug at all.. job refreshes after teleporting from ferry to ferry or from town to town or he just disconects and reconects

no not near the ferry, closer to the bridge by the stronghold on jangan.
yeah but that doesnt make sense. That is being abused. to change job suits in such a short time, then whats the point to have a timelimit on the job if it can be reset when you disconnect or teleport, that doesnt make sense.
So lvl 70 hunters go out hunting for lvl 40-50 thieves... kill them, disconnect from the game, come back later suit up as thieves and steal the loot. thats stupid.

i remember i killed two multistar caravans in my theif suit and i had to
wait 20 secs to get a trans out...
all of the sudden these two nublet theifs come out of no where summon a
caravan and start stealing the shit i worked for...
i was pissed... lol
so i use a instant return scroll and desuited. then i used a reverse return
scroll and threw on a hunter... dropped them, and their trans, repeated
the scrolls. then came back as a theif and stole my shit back, bandit
scrool, boo yaa 5 star...
lol good times

its actually really helpful if you are a thief, kill a trader and some noob jacks your stuff while you wait for the 21 seconds. Desuit, relog and nail them as a hunter. That is of course if you don't have a jobless guildmate handy.
I see no problem with this tactic.
edit: superblur beat me to the punch while i was on the phone.

It is indeed an excellent tactice... How can you call relogging a bug? lol Or crossing a ferry? It gives you a chance, the chance to RUN.

Cause I use that one a lot. HUnting, see too many hunters, switch to thief. THiefing, see too many thieves, switch to hunter. Good stuff.

Well for those of you that don't like it I have heard that the job update is gonna change the dynamic a bit. The take suit off and relog or cross ferry trick will not work. If I understand correctly if you take job off you go back to town. The reverse returners however will still be able to do it.

You don't even want to switch anymore because you will lose your job xp. And it looks like job xp is going to give you extra skills.
