It might be that I am a little paranoid after the last events .. but .. after I’ve spent 8 mill on weapon elixirs .. I’ve asked some questions …!!!
I have print screens .. but I don’t know now how to post them .. the story is: Zzz_ went on local chat that she is selling weapon elixirs at 150k. 100 of them!!! Happy for a bargain I’ve spent all my money but then I’ve noticed something strange … after the first 2 stalls she went .. somewhere .. presumably to storage to take more .. but then …when people crowded she just put more and more elixirs without moving at all just 1 min breaks … she was telling me that a friend is carrying the elixirs for her … she gave me 2 names … both offline … and when I said I will report to Joymax … she said .. I have to go ! and she went offline!
Now! My apologies to Zzz_ (a lvl 52 – no guild) if there is a logical explanation (aaa .. and at some point 1eyebandit was in picture .. he too was selling weapon elixirs at 150 k during the day!) .. so apologies to him too!!!
I have the print screens in a word document .. I will post them as soon as you tell me how to do it!

hmm, same thing happened on Troy Last night, someone was selling protect elixirs for 45k they must have went through 300 elixirs before a dam union member decided to crash us all...

no more event....pls no more event and roll back.

Event for 100%exp gained,100% SOX drop rate,100% Gold gained

Maybe these elixirs being sold are the ones that came from the botters.

Same for certain stall-characters that have like a ton of SOS stuff.

Perhaps this is what the bot masters do...they transfer them to a stalling character.

On my server (I don't recall the name the person selling) but a strange thing has been starting to happen over the last month. They have been getting cheaper! Used to be 200K, then it was 180K, I seen a guy today with a full stall of them for 160K. I watched for abit.. People were buying them like mad! But each time you checked his stall.. It was down and he was refilling them.

Its just strange that at any given time you can find no less then 3 stalls full of endless bottles..

I thought that too... Wouldn't you have endless gear to sell to? You get alot more money from those, even if you cut the price down to nothing.

I would hate for it to be another dupe, would the roll back be 2 before the previouse event? or what? cuz then all hell WOULD break loose

The idea of duping is dumb.. but I like events!

Some people just have mass quantites of elixers stored up that they've accumulated over time.

Way before all this dupe stuff (months ago on Alps), someone was selling *a lot* of weapon elixers at like 150k each. I ended up buying 1/2 of them (approx 35 or so) and still have most of them saved. I wasted quite a few upgrading low level sos/som stuff for fun, but something like this does not seem out of the blue.

Not just mass quantities of elixers stored over time, but also has anyone noticed that even after the event, the elixers are still falling left and right? I got like 5 weap elixers today... the blue items with unusual stats(dura increase, attack rate increase, etc.) drop a lot too. Since there are more elixers dropping, shouldn't the price naturally drop? dunno.

All nice and good .. but how can you sell 100+ elixirs without moving at all? I can understand that someone went to storage and then exchanged with the staler .. but why logoff immediately when I said report to Joymax and lie about your helper?
And where to store such amount of elixirs? What is the point of that? .. ya .. if they have a 20 24/7 network of bots .. it make sense .. but .. wtf???

First you need to get an acount if u dont already have one to a image holding webstite like photobucket (http://www.photobucket.com)
Then once u havean account press upload the it will browse your computer, Go to c:/programfiles/silkroad/screenshots then select the desired shot.
once you have uploaded you will be able to get the URL.
Use the IMG tags like so



then submit!

now after the event which the drops were insane.. i got like 50 elxairs each of all.. and a few sos items..
and now the supply is back.. so demnad for them is eased.. prices comes down to 170k

i got about 3 pages worth of random elixer drops over event, so its prob the gold botters selling off all their elixers?

like u need to hack/bot to get alot of elixers.
I just npced over 20 shield elixers, got all my gear/jewels +3, wep +5.. still my storage is full of all kinds of elixers

There is also lots of people on Alps server which hang around the storage area selling weapon elixir for 150-170k. One of these people is named 01212512 or something along the lines of that and he just sits there and sells elixirs all day. When all the items are bought he waits for a while and then sets up another stalls with 10 weapon elixirs! It's like he never runs out! Whats also weird is that he was selling other things like sos stuff. A Lv 32 sos spear was selling for 3 mil! and also later that day he put up a seal of moon Lv 32 spear too for 23 mil.

I have 4 full pages of elixirs across all my accounts. I'm currently selling 40 weapon elixirs, they dropped like crazy during the event and I'd been saving them.

Let s not jump to conclusions.

why would they dupe elixir when they mind as well dupe lvl 64 weapon and npc it??

Im pretty sure its the gold farmers thta are selling them, turning their drops over into quick cash. I notice that the bots only pick up certain items, elixirs are one of them. Converting them to cash, along with the SOSs makes sense from their standpoint. I cant say I havent bought out several stalls worth of elixirs myself. ^^

dunno sounds weird i hope we get another event but i dont fancy a roll back either im making 10mil a day and dont wish to lose anything

About 3 weeks before we duped, I bought 9 mil worth of prot elix from 2 stalls. They just kept refilling. I assumed they had another char they were bringing them over from.

9m.. dang thats a lot.. i've had 4 storage page full of shield elix at one time..... got the dumb shield to +3 like 4 times..... -.-

... then i got some more and made 3 shields +5 with 25 elix total.. no astral

most likely when you buy these elixers your gold is then sold to other people.
the farmers like powerlevel have chars that just save elixers and sos, and sell everything else. i've seen this on venice and actually for a time bought them and resold them. the owner of the chars would come on every nite at the same time and sell 4-6 stalls of wep. elixers in a row, with the event there has been even more elixer drops = more to sell. i belive there is not a dupe, but who knows stupid people like chaud do exist.

buying & selling and alchemy stones but atm iv got 1mil i ran out of elements haha so spent 10mil getting a good stock
