1. summoning the bird by switching to bow then switching back to ur non bow weapon?
2. equipping a shield just to turn on fire sheild then taking it off
3. something random that probably produce a new bug
are they? will they? is it even suppose to be a bug? (and yet another good bug fixed-to-be while the bad bugs continue itching on our tolerance )
seriously appreciate any info on this before I waste a portion of my 55555 sp, gold and time on a bug which I'll then get pissed and open a new thread here whining about it, just like that **** harmony crap

Why is this a problem? LoL. Fire shield is in the FIRE tree, not the bicheon tree. So its for everyone to use. Also, at cap if you don't have fire shield king for immunity, you're a complete newb!

i dont really think the buffs from bow/shield are a bug. But they may change it since they have been changing a couple other little things here and there last update.

eh... those skills arent bugs... if the Bird is in the Pacheon Skill Tree.. is logic that you need use a Bow to use that buff - .-

Uhh if it was for everyone you wouldnt need a shield, that is a bug I think for sure, if it wasnt a bug whats the point of even having ice effects if everyone is immune? >_>, ya...

Everyone shouldn't be able to become immune to certain status effects. It totally ruins the Cold force tree. Its also a benefit of being a build that includes a shield knowing that you can become immune to some status effects. They really need to fix this.

If they havn't fixed the "bug" of the shield thing on jsro or ksro what makes you think Isro will be so special to have it fixed on the next update?
Like huyafong said it's not a blade/sword skill so it's for everyone to use, if it was a blade skill, would be understandable, but it's not. I doubt the'll fix it even if it is a bug. I mean, that's what it's there for you get a certain % reduce on jewery use fire shield and your 100% imune, what's the point of being part imune with jewery and not being able to use fire shield..

Fire shield was %? IF so, then just change it to time or what ever the lil numbers mean next your your status effect

It IS a shield skill or else you wouldnt need a shield to use it >_>...
The point of being part immune is so theres less chance of getting the effect, why dont you tell us what the point of having the effect all would be if your immune???
The "certain" amount of reduce on jewelry is 80% if everyone was meant to be immune why not make it 100%, because they made it where everyone can get SOME reduce, and shield users get to have the skill to be 100% immune.
Ya know the hawk is a bow skill and it is actualy in the bow skill tree, but you can still use it with a diff weapon, ALSO in ksro/Jsro last I checked, so you dont really have a point as to it being a bug or w/e.

I have sent endless of reports to JM about this, so I guess they now consider my reports as spam and auto send it to the trash bin.
I do hope they change it in the near future.

as well as pressing S and viewing the skill in game tells u the same stuff tht its 'related' to the bicheon skill
and for those who can't understand what the fuss here is about I will repeat in a much clearer, more indepth and more detailed explanation
We are able to 'borrow' or invest skills from all trees as long as we don't exceed 300 mastery and have the sp to spend as we all know. And again as we all know SRO definition of build relates to your weapon and stats. So, my definition of 'borrow' here is having the abilities of another WEAPON apart from your main weapon.
Example;
1. A sword nuker or bow user has extra hp because of some investment on the heuksal passive
2. A glaiver wants to add attack rating so he has some bow passive and a white bird... maybe even the blue bird heh
3. A glaive/bow has fire shield turned on in pvp
Basically there is nothing wrong with those who wants to do like those examples. It's the question of the requirements to use skills like for no. 2 u NEED A BOW to activate the bird and no. 3 u NEED A SHIELD which gives the impression that such skills are suppose to be only exclusive for that weapon *only* and being a smart a$$ (like me) doing weapon switch for activation is 'bug-abusing'
IMO I do think its weird for a non bow user to have a bird on him. Should I've not seen a spear with a white bird I won't even have thought it possible to equip a shield, buff up fire shield and use back my bow.
But like harmony, if it's a bug it's a good bug and I hope Joymax don fix it ^^ Talk about fairness, the shield has extra def, a br that block's both magic n physical attacks skills or not, put an alchemy in to get it immune to crit?? and now having status reduction exclusively?? That's not overpowered?
Back to topic, I learned a lesson from the harmony theraphy bug and I don't wanna waste more sp. So if someone knows something ..... hmm but guessing from the above debate I guess not

I think they will fix the buff bug.
not telling you what the bug is because i dont want yall to abuse it

Even though it looks like bug, it is also kinda OK. Cause Heuskal has no weapon related buff. Sword/Blade have fire shield. Bow has birdy. Glaviers have both!
edit: oh and yeah, that fire shield should be Force buff, not Fire.

It took them to fix fire wall and ice wall, but they fixed those too.
Passives are different. They don't require that you have anything to obtain in order to get them.
Just look at the definition.
The martial art of the Fire Force Mastery to raise the resistance power by infusing he vigor in the shield is the very Flame Shield Technique. This is the martial art created for the Bicheonmun...
All you need is a bow to summon a hawk.
If the buff is fused into the shield, then technically it should wear off when the shield is not equipped. You can see even more in the description that it was created for use by people with the Bicheon mastery.
But maybe fire shield is glitched. Everywhere where the creators wanted to put a % there is a %. There is no % beside fire shield. There is a number for the status effect reduce. This would explain why some status effects exceed 100. In theory, fire shield emperor(-78 status effect reduce) should probably make you immune to all lvl 31 imbues status effects. With the help of reduce from alchemy, 80+78 will give you a total of 158, which would be the same as the highest lvl imbue's status effect making it possible to become immune to it.

I think we have at the moment basic functionality for all skills but they're not anywhere near complete yet. Just look what imbue skills says, it mentions weapon, so eventually we might have imbue skills that don't add damage to nukes at all. So in patches they'll fine tune skills as they get them working as they originally had planned.. and yeah, some people will get mad because Joymax does these things without mentioning them in patch notes. Game was released half finished and it'll take still at least year before they've added all stuff so there will be lots of changes to skills and to all other things before we got 100% fully working game.
