I got a Pentium 4 with 3 Gigahertz, a GIG of RAM, and a nvidia 7600 GT graphics card.
I can run Battlefield 2142 with 64 online players, beautifully. Yet I see many screenshots with the SRO graphcis on low..... >_>

My pc isn't that good but SRO is a pushover for it anyway. Only thing is, I don't post screenshots as I hardly play nowadays. Usually I only do if I'm incredibly bored.

you're high level and yet you haven't figured it out yet?
even if you have the most badass computer ever. you WILL lag in town
silkroad online is poorly coded compared to major titles (ie. BF2142) the detailed shadows in this game is a joke option
i have a low end computer due to my cpu and i turn everything on max except for shadows which i leave on simple
athlon 1500 <- LMFAO
512 mb ddr ram
9800 pro

Ya I'm running:
AMD 64 3700+
2GB DC Ram
ATi x800

Wait wait...
My old LAN buddies used to do this. Big piss contest of hardware.
And when one got something new, the others always had to beat it.
Heh.
Anyway.
I got a kickass computer.
And I run it on min res. Cuz for whatever ..... reason, my awesome comp cant NOT lag at Isy fights.
Just ISY. Thats it.
And I don't know why people A) Have problems downloading patch B) have problems installing patch C) problems connecting D) video problems E) lag in game (never.)
Never any problems with SRO except ???? error.

But your AMD which tells me your to cheap to go intel, and use benchmarks that only compare one running program in a non realistic application to excuse that fact.
ohhhhhh burn!
Oh and BTW I never have paypal problems either.
Geez all these thread. tsk.

My setup:
AMD Athlon 64 Processor 3800+ AM2 chip overclocked at 2.7GHz
2GB RAM
500 GB (2 x 250 GB SATA2 drives in a raid 0)
NVIDIA GeForce 7600 GT XXX Edition x 2 (512mb linked with SLI)
Sound Blaster Audigy 7.1
VideoLogic 5.1 setup with 5.1 videologic headphones
Logitech G15 Gaming Keyboard
Razer Diamondback 1600dpi gaming mouse

Thats a real gaming machine, I want to get another 2 gb of ram though.
I can play CSS with everything at full/max including dynamic lighting on.
Quake 4 with both sp and mp with full graphics on with all fine.
Also with SRO I can have my graphics up to full, with detailed shadows on and still run at 95 fps, (170 without shadows on)
