I'm coming from the online game KalOnline and I'm checking out silk road which is EXTREMELY different looking, quite complicated to understand what exactly these character classes do ><

I need guidance and the forms don't really answer every single question percisely. What do the stat points like intel, strength raise.

I'm making a female character because I am female and all...yeah but I was thinking of being either a healer or an archer. Mostly archer, because I like that kind of class but only thing, do I need to buy arrows in this game if so screw being an archer. Please let me know he answer to that ASAP >< Are the mastery skills you learn worth getting or a waste of skill points?

Oh and which server is considered a good one? Are they all different or the same...?

ALL the servers are the same. they are just populated by different kind of people.

In this game you can buy arrows, but you can also find them whenever you get a kill you might get a drop. sometimes it will be a weapon such as sword or blade or glavie or bow, it might be armor it might be potions or it might be arrows.

You get 3 stat points every time you advance a lvl. you can add those points to your str(strength) or your int (intelligence) and thus you will increase your HP and MP.

What is most complicated is the build you want to make, for that you have to decide early and add the stat points accordingly. Read the stickies for more info.

theres no healer in this game as far as i know everyone can heal someone else if they have the skill. You can be a thief, a hunter or a trader. those are the jobs you can take.

ty for your help...but I'm leaving this game, the friggin servers are ALL crowded. Thats freaking rediculous. >< I'm sure its a good game but god damn.

first off, if you want to start on a new server play on Rome as it is the newest with the least amount of high level players. (better for you )

second, if you want to be an archer and a healer, you are going to be one of the weakest classes, but that might not be a bad thing, as you would be a backup for your friends, healers are always good to have around.

third, if you are going to be an archer, i recommend putting ALL of your points into STR, thus making you a FULL STR ARCHER. this is best for archers because you will have bigger crits, more physical defense, and more HP.

fourth, if i were you, and i was going for an archer/healer build, i would go with garment. simply because you get a speed boost, and since you are an archer you need to be able to get away from people. also, if you are a healer, you neeed to be quick to get to your fallen/hurt companions.

uhg...well on to the next online game -.-

the servers are only crowded now because of the event going on, usually i have no problems connecting to Rome or Olympus, but right now, yes everyone is playing to get the extra xp and drops from the event.


but this also means it is a PERFECT time to start a new char, as you will be getting a lot of drops and more xp than usual.
