Silkroad Online Forums

This has to be one of the most boring games i have ever play,the quest are f-ing horrible. but for some reason i can't stop playing it. I was just on the hero online website and they are have a really cool event.

There will be an update for Hero Online at 1am PST Wednesday morning in preparation for our Halloween event along with several (major) changes to the game.

Here are some details regarding both:

Halloween Event:

-Four new masks: in celebration of Halloween, we will be adding four NEW limited edition masks in the Hero Tavern. These masks will take the shape of a: Pumpkin, Skeleton, Frankenstein, and Witch! These masks are only available during our Halloween Event so get them while they''re hot.

-Lord Sagun''s Trick or Treat: In preparation for Halloween, Lord Sagun has ordered some of his subordinates to dress up as monsters in the surrounding lands to distribute candies and prizes to all. While the costumes look close enough to the real thing, they''re not exactly the right proportions so they''ll be easy to spot. But watch out! They won''t just GIVE you the candy, you have to work for it!

Also, be sure to speak with Event Manager Mae at Dragon Castle to find out how to earn prizes from the candies the "monsters" drop.

Go play kal for 2 years then try and quit. Quiting that game is like trying to quit smoking only 59307537 times harder.

You dont have to like the game to visit the forum. It's more of a community then a place for in game information anyway.

too bad hero graphics sucks balls

yes the game is boring indeed, for me this is just a small break until the next good FPS comes out, then im out of here. im just killing a few hours here and there with sro for now. Q1 STALKER comes out and i hope its good, cuz then im out.

i am waiting for sw: kotor 3 and diablo 3, possibly starcraft 2
this game is Farking stupid as **** yet i still play it.
it believe my unconcious mind is taking more control of my concious mind because of this game.

I thought I could never leave SRO even though it did suck. Then I started playing Wow.....

you could do it without having to voice your opinion on a board specifically created for the game your bitching about, I mean, who wants to come here day after day and see a list of god knows how many threads screaming "omg bot this" "omg ccf that" "omfg noobhax" "dis gam sux0rs olol" before managing to actualyl see a thread worth reading. and really, HOW MANY Farking TIMES DO WE HAVE TO SAY THIS?

hero online is a bad game. It could be decent...

The events are stupid btw. I've been in many of them while I played. One person may win something nice, or no one may win anything nice.

Like I have said 100 times before, I continue to come here because I like to. There are no good WoW forums that I know of that are like this. Every WoW forum I visit have 1000+ people on 24/7, I like this because its the same few people every day.

Everyone play sro cuz its free and got pretty good graphic.

If they ever make SRO p2p even 1-5 $ per month server wont be crowded ever again ,100%. A bunch of euro players cant pay it,mostly turks, so they will have no choice then quit.

And if like 70% of u can pay 15$ (if is it 15 i dont know) per month to play WOW or some similar game u will quit sro in second.

One more thing why is Sro good is that u dont need some uber expensive PC to run it.

Why are you surprised? The threads you see represent peoples experiences with the game. It just so happens that the "problems" you mentioned are extremely prevalent and disruptive. People complain about things they dont like, so obviously, these are the threads you are going to get. And if you also consider that there is no content what so ever in the game, what else are they gonna post about?

sro free = good

sro graphics= sweet as good as Wow

Quests (possibly never ending) = good

bots= Let down and stupid

events= impossible to log in

overall=good but a letdown the events are gonna be bad to!

It may be free but people are stupid enough to waste real money trying to pimp out a pixelated item. I can understand buying a GT and a monkey now and then but buying 50 astrals a day... no just no.

ok, i was just kinda pissed off because i could not log in yesterday, untill about 7pm. I do like the game but it does get boring at times. Plus how can i complain about asomething that is free??!?!

As for the OP (regardless if he/she still reads/posts here), I understand the whole "boring but addictive" concept (I'm playing WoW since a month after release. ) Something about SRO, to me, is that even though it may be repetitive... it.. clicks fun with me. I can't seem to put my finger on it, to string a figure of speech to the sentence.
