so i started a new char on Rome the other day
IGN: Doug_Funny haha.. always loved that show

so far i've seen 2 different BOTs i've never seen on Oasis.. maybe cause i've been alchemy/stalling for months..

but anyways
1st bot) Runs arounds killing with Imbue, instantly picking up drops... continue.

2nd bot) Runs around killing without Imbue, instantly picks up drops...
(which is typical).... but then all of a sudden they go Bezerk when they fight a Giant..

Sorry for another bot post, but i was just wondering if anyone else has seen the 2nd bot... it amazes me what botters have done to SRO......

lure your level 70 npc theives on the bots

I dont like the people who buy gold more because it creates a huge imbalance between the two types of players. I am not sure how to tell a bot from someone because the first one sounds like me. I run around always using imbue, well amost always, and when the mob gets low health I tap the autograb a few times. Wouldnt that look the same as one of those bots?

yeah i know what your saying... u can always tell they're a bot when u hit there mob once they start to slide away

yea and what the doesn´t have to stand still and look on you when you hit the moobs...and olmost all take berserk when giant come..

The bots are getting inteligent. Have any of you had the experience of getting a party invite on logging in before everything has had time to render on screen? This has happened to me in town on several occasions. Once on logging back in after a DC in the bunwang fields I got an instant party invite from an ikillers member who was not even in sight. And today it happened after a DC out on the ice.

this happens so often I turned on auto deny for parties... then again... it is a sure way to have a party that will stay together for a long grind if its filled with bots... still, it is just another way to support them and I'd rather just host my own (that way I can boot out the ppl I dont like )

Yeah I just tend to ignore it too. Most times I have all guild or union parties though. So I guess I just have not noticed this very much. Still this is a new twist.

No it will just go on and attack something else unless the botters go and babysit it

There's been also discussions here on forum about how party invites are used in some sort of account hacking.. if you accept, they'll get your info. Without knowing if it's true or not, it's better to play safe and turn of party invites from options and form teams only with people you know.

Other reason for those instant party invites is said to be that bots use parties now and and each party has one bot char that tries to keep the team full. This party member usually is in town where it's spamming people with invites.
