People Violating Rules / Posting bots / Selling gold

Post by FFGIRL »

We have had a recent spate of people doing the above.

What i need you as members to do is not to reply to these posts and instead just PM me with the link, i dont mind my box being full of these PM's but please be aware i may not reply to every one of you.

By not replying i am able to find these posts by searching under posts with no replies however if you post in them and no-one PM's me then i have to search all the forums for them

We will then get these accounts banned as soon as possible

Thanks for your support

They are banned.

You dont have to nicely edit these types of posts FF. Just hit the X button and delete the thread.

I always message SG when I find a thread that needs to be deleted, and it gets deleted quickly.

O.o

Yah agreed, Instead of having to PM the mods and fill up the Inboxes. A report button would be so much simpler...

But then again report buttons get abused by people because they are so easy to use and previous experience has shown me that it causes a lot more emails in my email box than a PM

This method does seem to be working though (thanks to those that have sent me pm's so far)

Ok so how about giving only the trusted members the report button option?
I mean members who have been here for a while and clearly wont spam your mailbox.

Kinda like mini-mods or something :P

You could have a report button like the AA forums. Once a topic has been reported, the report button disappears so nobody else can report it.

Or... we could have the "report button" only for veteran members or above because they are dedicated people to the forums. :)
