Warning:

There is a new link going through some forums that says : New SA recruitment. When you click on the link it goes to a website that looks identical to the official website. All the links works as well (leads to sro.net)

I don't know for sure if its a fake link or not but two things that raises RED
1. Asking for ID & PW right away
2. NO info on this from the front page of http://www.silkroadonline.net AT ALL

If someone really wanted to get your ID & PW I woudn't imagine it being all that difficult to make a fake webpage + fake all the links to official website to make it "look" like it is from an official website and hack you.

The guy posting these links named himself monstertruck so be on the look out. This is sort of scary considering how "real" this page looks.

Edit: Tavern is where I first saw the hacker's link. The link just asks for ID and PW exactly like how iSRO website asks for your id and pw everytime you buy silk.

I dont think its a fake link, but I dont think they are really recruiting unless they dont want it advertised >_>, I searched for it and found a link for back when they really were(http://news.mmosite.com/data/S/i/2006/0 ... 07349.html) and the registration page is the same link as th one posted on tavern, you need to be logged in to see it, wich I didnt do though, because I actualy am paranoid ;p, but I dont see how it would be fake if its from the main site(silkroadonline.net).

well if yuo wanted to check if it was real yuo could just log into the main site, then go to this site and if it still asks yuo to log in, refresh, if it STILL asks for info its for hacking purposes, if it does show yuo the page then it obviously is real

Thanks for the haeds up HuyFong, man some people will go to such lengths to get your acc info. Complete and utter game ruiners and losers with no life so they try to screw up other peoples.

I still have 2 noobie acounts, with only 3x chars from servers different then mine.. might use them to login to see if it's fake or not

Hehe.. I can never actually see silkroad's official site so I'll know it's a fake if I can see this, btw what is the site? sro.net? cuz I don't see jack on that sight but "this domain is for sale."

or, you could try logging in with a fake un/pw, and see if it doesn't ask you because it was wrong.
