Can someone explain the magical damage on this glavie vs this spear? :lol: someone post their pic of this glavie in the character skills forum, looks completely off when compared to a 64+9 Spear.

doesn't seem to off to me. a spear and +9 vs +5 gives it about 150ish more min mag att. if yuo look at 1 + its usually like 15-25 dmg increase i beleive, so 60-100 for the + and 50-90 for being a spear.
(rough estimations)

not tomention from what i've seen the mag atta ck on a phys weapon is all the much lower.i mean there is a difference but it isn' that huge. which i why if you get a good glaiove ti is often better than a not so good spear to nuke with

Did you see closely though that spear has damage of 1324 (+9 @ 71%) and the glavie is 1274 (+5 @ 68%) That’s seems impossible that a spear – which normally have higher magical than a glavie – and is +4 higher than the glavie would only have ~ 50 points higher in damage. Does that mean that IF the glavie is +9 it would have damage 1274 x4(25) = 1374 which would be much higher then the +9 spear? Doesn’t make any sense.

PS you are right, the damage is about ~20 to 25 per +1 added to a lvl 64 weapon

lol oops, i wasn't look ning at the max dmg. but i guess it might just be like that. i mean the difference between 71% and 68% is like 2dmg or something, so no difference there. maybe a phys weapon is like light nuke. it isn't as good to nuke with because the min dmg is SOOOO muhc lower, but the max dmg isn't all that different. or maybe its a glitch, it would be possible to have a glitched weapon that has messed up stats. or they could just be showing wrong, like when yuo lvl a starving wolf, the stats displayed will be wierd, but there won't be any diference in performence.

oh and lol at the ~ 50 its exactly 50 XD

Either one flarking rare glaive.. a fault in the randomly generated stats when it dropped ( a bugged weapon ) ..

Or the spear was really bad to start with and that was a good glaive. But one thing is the glaives min damage is so much lower than the spears. And I lost my train of thought I think that's all I wanted to say about the two? lol

And Criterions' SS made my day, the global in it, "HOW DO YOU GET THOSE THINGS ON THE SIDE OF YOUR HEAD?" lol >_<

that is the worst photoshop i have ever seen. you can tell buy looking at the borders and u can tell by looking at the text, the text is gridy.

i know this guy, Mandrake.. hes from Greece and the stats for the glavie r CORRECT... i just saw him today on my lvl5 char -__-! (my char lvl52 got ..... hacked)



@i got a question about +ing a weapon... so when u add +1 u r adding 25 more dmg, so +2 would be 50, +3 would be 75 and so on?... explain this plz ><

The lower you are, the less it adds. Its a random number for each +, but if you fail, it will always give the same bonus damage if you kept it at that.

I love how you zoomed into that pic like by 400% zoom haha. I agree, it's most likely not photochopped. If you look at the rest of the pic, the text from the sttas are all fuzzy. It's consistent with the rest of the text. If it was photochopped, well that person fooled us.

But back onto topic, the M atk on that glaive looks way too high. I don't think I've ever seen a glaive +5 with almost 1300 M atk on it. Must be a kick ass glaive though, he should +9 it ftw.

Hum there is for sure something strange. My spear is +7 @ 39% and I have 1236 max mag...

it's the same for athena's pic...so both are PSed? dont think so...

Jabbers kinda said the same ting I think. The higher the plus, the less increase you get. At lower levels, the increase in dmg is big, but as you get higher, that increase seems to shrink.


But... plus 9 sure looks seksi.

The magic damage on that thing is like... 200 too much.
