well, i havent seen anything like this until i got to rome, but now i have seen it 3 or 4 times....


a group of bots in the same spot, they will run out and kill anything within a radius, then run back to the same exact spot, and they will just continue to do this over and over again...

there are usually 4-5 characters all standing in the exact same spot, then they will run out to a spawn, kill it, run back to their spot.


it must be some kind of gold bot, but its really weird to watch, and they are REALLY easy to ks, cuz you can just wait a bit closer to their spawns kill them, and watch the bots go back to their spot lol...

anyone seen these?

I saw this on Xian today, by the eastern ferry. 2 of them doing exactly what youve said.

On Tibet there are a lot of them outside on the west of jangan killing Magyangs. They are very low level but there are a lot of them. The other day I just invoke a trade horse and stay inside my circle seeing the NPC thieves kill them while I was eating. They dont try to fight back even when they are attacked, and as soon as they die they log off.

Wtf wth is the point of them.

Those are gold farmers. They are usually homemade scripts, and are made specifically to farm gold, and nothing else.

yeah ive seen them.. maby 3 times i think they are more useual on jsro or ksro.

In venice i was trading for 3-4 days in roll (hot-don)
every time i get to don near gates
i see a group of glavie users
all have 4 of the same skills buff in same order
wearing same armor, stop in the same spots.

i was to busy with my thieves to catch a ss of 4 on top of eachother
i believe there is 10+ of them running around killing hyeon
there coming out of west gates of don

Gold farmsers for sure


On oasis we have groups of gold farmers.
THEY all use the Moon Glaive and the 5th deegre armor AND AND they alll have keyboard smashed names and i see some riding ponys together.

I liked watching Tears and SealOfSun botting in the same corner ksing each other in the small warrior room. Both from HeroesVN, was hella funny.

more and more they seem to be working in unison. I saw 3 64+ archers on the same yetis. They picked up the gold too, whereas if they used to KS eachother no one would take it. It was sick because they didn't use any magic. All 3 were of the same client judging by their names.

yea, it seems like they are all one person, just farming gold i guess, i think they might be clientless bots??? hmmm, either way, they are crazy to watch, and should be destroyed

I was actually going to make a thread on this because I just saw the same thing on Rome. I was doing tigers near the strong hold and saw 4 bots all running together and attacking mobs. All using suky weapons, armor, and self-heal.

Might as well have been though. I can go around and find at least 5 bots in any given area, even the baby sitters thoo. Once you know how they move and attack, it's trivial finding them, especially in town. JM needs to buy the bot most used and actually see whats going on to take care of that.

Hmmm weird....never seen those kind of bots in Alps so far. The gold bots i have seen is the one that just kept running around and use normal attack to kill monster. Will not attack monsters that are being attacked and heal themselves when needed
