Many ppl forgot about this... SRO is a FREE game...

... of course except if you buy premium items from JM by choice.

If you don't like botters, CCFers, lag, server traffic, grindings, game play, or whatsoever... just stop playing when you have had enough. It is that plain simple.

I just play for my own fun. I am not interested to be the best. I just want to experience all the skills (of course only limited to the one I can afford because I don't SP farm) and monsters at each level (of course until my patient ran out). That's it.

Why did you start playing in the first play? Because it was fun and perhaps because it was free. If it wasn't fun anymore. You know what to do.

Just want to remind everyone SRO is a free game, quit anytime you like and no need to take matters personally or into your own hands. I am sure there are many other things you can do beside SRO.

My 2 cents.

Most people cant even reach lvl 70 without buying silk. Its hardly a free game.

Once you get level 52 the game isn't fun anymore. you will need to waste heeps of money on it to be good..
And you will be already hooked to the game.

All i can say Astral ruined the game!
it's so unfair game now if you can waste all your life saving in the game then you will be good or you need to CCF.

ditto

At the thread starter, this is in no means a *free* game. Joymax are smart, but focus TOO much on moneymaking. I bet they could offer perfect service if they wnated too, I just think they'd rather see the money making side to it.

Next thing they gonna do haha is most probably create a space where its like 200 silk to enter, and you can talk directly to a GM lolz.

Strange thing is, if they invested just a little amount of their profits into ridding the game of botters and CCFers, they'd make one hell of a lot more money.

i know what tyou mean i spent 100 english pounds on that focker... (£5 a month) Runescape sucks for that, and so does silk if what you all say is true

but if the botters are the problem why dont they track the Ip addreses and block them. "well done Joymax you saved traffic And your income give yourselfa pat on the back" but nope they just make a rollback to piss every one off. good bye freedom. speaking of which silks "missing silk" must be annoying for you guys?

I'm sure anyone, with the right amount of time, can get to lvl 70. I mean if you want lvl 70 quickly, you'd need to buy gold tickets and such. I'd think it can still be done without spending a dime. It will just take longer.

Besides, gaining lvl 70 isn't the only point of this game. Players can get along just fine staying at lvl 30 or 40 or 50. It all depends on what you want to get out of it.

Many people seem to forget that joymax is a small company compared to the other big mmo companies out there. Blizzard has had a lot of success and a long fan based way before wow came out. This gives them extra capital to plan and market. They have subscribers so everyone is paying, and with the added market from previous blizzard games and earnings are able to captialize on this huge base and make more profit, and in turn provide a better gm service. Now compare that to Joymax who, has been relatively unknown pre-silkroad. They now have to compete in this market which has very very strong competiors, they have to use a different business model to gain more players, and hopefully some silk buyers by making the game free, but not easy to level. Add that this is probably the biggest thing they have taken on internationaly as company and you have to expect their to be some major issues. If you can't get past these issues from a new company/game franchise than the game is not gonna be for you. Please stop comparing Blizzard service to joymax.

edit-not that anyone is comparing joymax to blizzard in this thread, just that many people who quit iSRO cite these reasons on why they switch. I just prefer the smaller guy, and I don't really think Joymax is greedy, they are just a newer younger company.

so far ive wasted only 100 bucks in the last few months to get a pet and a ticket and im lvl 67 so lets see, that could only buy me 2 PS2 games that would last only 2 weeks or only a few months of WoW or any other online game you pay monthly for so i think its worth it and it isnt hard to lvl if you plan what time you can grind.
