Someone do something about the mass Greece account stealing?

Can someone do something about the mass account stealing on Greece that happened yesterday?
Apparently someone called OWteam stole over 30 accounts and announced it all on global. They did it indiscriminately regarding wether the original account owner bot, ccf or what ever. But in public it seems like they try to justify their action by accusing the owners of botting.
I whispered him on the stolen account:
So they knew the guy didnt bot and still stole his account yet look at this screenshot taken by a friend when i was sleeping
Trying to give the public a reason for why they do it. But they do one mistake: Calling me bot. They are barking at the wrong tree here, If more than anything most people know me as a non botter on greece.
I do have a clue who that might be that are doing all these, but not going to point any finger at anyone yet, im taking my precaution, so far so good. Only accounts they managed to stole had easy pw with no numbers.
If they really are after botters half the svr would be empty. I feel sorry for all the innocent people that arent even high level, that got their account stolen just like that.
I hope the GMs that might be lurking around, read this post and do something. The account stealing is very real, i dont want to go into detail how they might have done it. But there must be something the GMs can do. Filing a bug report just isnt enough. And this is to let the community know if they dont already knew.

Some might call them script kiddies, some might call them hackers. To me they are just someone that stole item and money from people in a game.

Im sure a 40+ years old priest that plays casually on the weekend with his son bot
He hasnt even logged on for almost a month, im pretty sure that 1 month is the time it took them to bruteforce the pw since the last time he logged 1 month ago i probably accepted a random trade or party request. too bad his pw is an easy one without any numbers.
Im tempted to flame your ass to outerspace, but you are not even worth it.

THis is what I hate most about ppl like Santa. EVERY dam person that gets hacked now is instantly accused of botting. It's retarded.

Do you actually beleive they are hacking the server? No, didnt think so.
So what do you propose the GMs do about it. Personally I think 90% of the high lvls on greece botted, that server is condemned.

I'm surprised some asshole hasn't come here yet to start bitching at you again about your build.
Good luck, hope you don't get hacked, I would jsut advise to try to ignore and avoid the alleged hackers, you never know.
And matronyx, you're an idiot.
Just because someone has a weak password means they deserve to get hacked? I agree about botting and sharing accounts, but if you actually believe that because someone's password is weak constitutes an excuse to them being hacked, you're more than welcome to go outside and play in the middle of a busy highway.

Dude, I dont see how you translated my post into a weak password = deserve to get hacked. There are many on the servers with very weak user/password combinations. These users probably skipped the text that says you shouldnt use same ign as your account name, or about mixing up the numbers with letters for password. Do they

You group it together with account sharing and botting. If you had put them seperately it would be different.

OWTeams hacks are increacing, they just started to hack another person, it also seem's they only target people who have silk on their accounts so they can brab about how they hacked their account most probably, they also talk about how they will get revenge on some ex-olympus people, I don't know who OWTeam is, but i'm starting to suspect something...

Ya OWTeam is ggoiing to be in shock within the next couple of weeks, that is, if they are who I think they are. And .. Not to name names but As far As german leaders bow. I Just switched to bow from lavie(Iswetch back and forth, yes) I got propositioned Cause of a post... WTB 42 Seal of Sun or Moon bow paying extremely high. And i get an IM saying that if I would be interested in a bow for later on. I Acted the dumbass saying i have no friends on here and basically making it look like i was retarded...lol To make a long story short... Some lvl 64 weapons may be coming back to Greece... hehe

hacking is just as bad if not worse then botting, granted the people who bot dont deserve there accounts because they are not willing to put time and effort into there character to get good, but people shouldnt stoop to a botters lvl by hacking.
who are you hackers to judge botters for gaining through unfair means, all who hack to strip botters are no better!
Anyone who says im bro bot is gonna get chopped because i hate bots more then anything in the game (apart from hackers).

It's not even botters who they were hacking, it was people that din't bot.. people who had silk etc, there randomly attacking people, not just the botters, they said they attack people that have sos wepons as they pointed out people on the greece server who have them, and one of the last statements they globaled is they hack people who have silk on their account, hth they find out ifn oabout the silk i have no idea..

Here is how it is according to what i've seen. They bruteforce every account their manage to get to regardless of the owners playing habit, they steal everything from that account.
Then those account that happens to have some silk on, they stole the silk too and use on global chats. With those global chats, i've seen them spread hardcore racist comments and jokes about the turks, jews, vn, or just spamming "a b c d e f g", or threats of targeting some high lv people, some with SOS, some without. And spreading their obviously false propaganda about that they hack only those that bot, ccf etc.
There is unsure if they really meant what they said on the GC, they could be misleading us causing us to think they are someone else than they really are, spreading false info to make them look good. There could also be also more than 1 group that are doing all the account stealiing.
In the end, cant be sure who they are, cant trust the least on the words they spread with stolen GC. One thing is sure, that they are cyber thieves, that steals digital properties from people.

im from Greece and my account was BLOCKED this past tuesday 10, abd i think this OWteam or w/e hacked me.
and NO i havent bot or dl any weird programs... and my pass was really hard to figure out.
I had a a lot of stuff on my char... char lvl52

To make a hard password to bruteforce replace e's with 3's and o's with 0's.
That randomly adds a number in the middle of the password. Also add some letters to the end. Start your password with like a z or something then an a after that.
Bruteforce apps usually go in order of the alphabet trying things like:
aaa
bbb
ccc
....
abb
acc
add
....
then they go to
aaa111
aaa112
until they finally get it. By adding those little things like I said in my post, it makes it harder (over 1 year) to bruteforce. Changing your password every 1 - 2 months also totally f*cks up the bruteforcer so that helps too.

Hmm i don't think it is just on greece. If they can brute force anyone's account, they would check which server they play. Probably most people they hack are from greece.
Just keep your computers clean, change password every week, use party match never accept random invite party/whatever. should be 99% safe

The minute maint came on, my friend from clan, Scarletrouge except this one din't just npc everything and log out, he's took the account completely and changed the email address and password so she canot even change her own password.
I don't know what's going on in greece, but it doesn't even seem that GM's are doing absolutly FLARK ALL, several people have been hacked recently and gm's have still done nothing. I've sent a bug report, not that the'll read it... everyone on greece be on your guard.. this hacking is getting even more serious..
