It's like this. The last week or more I cant play SRO cause of dam lag. It's not some shity 1-2 sec lag. Its horror. I see 30 seconds everyone standing, then move fore 2 secs, stand 30 secs and so on. It is tottaly unplayable. The thing that worries me, its not happening to everyone! I thought it is, but its not. It all began after the 12 hour "upgrade" but became extreme over last 5-10 days. I have ADSL 1024/128 so I assume its not the problem, cause I had same connection before, and it was working fine. So wtf is it? GM's punishing me for swearing at them?

I did not swear at GM's and got same lag thanyou 30 sec and sometimes when back I'm dead ! During the lag, I see mobs hitting me and my life bar decreasing,very very very very frustrating !

Try reseting ur ADSL adapter. I've got 4096/768 adsl, so when i have some lag problems i reset the adapter, this usually helps me.

Dam Đuro I have the exact same problem as you do, but i blamed my connection, now i see that maybe it is not, wtf....

I know people playing on dialup so i doubt its a connection problem..
Try to restart your Modem and leave it off for like 5 mins.
If nothing gose better connect your ISP and ask them to refresh your connection. Once happened to me..
I have 2048/512 connection and my download rate was 12kb/sec after they refreshed it its back normal around 240kb/sec rate ...
Also scan your pc from spyware maybe thats what wasting your bandwith lol.

Yeah, it may happen because of synchronization failures... or something like that

Imho it has nothing to do with ur lag. Even delay is not very long.

do you share your internet connection with other computers in your house? um i had this problem and it turns out it was my router (cuz i use the same internet connection for both computers in my house.) i got a new one and silkroad stopped lagging.

I do not share computer with other, but I've TV on my phone line also. Anyway, It's only since update, like Chaby, that I've this issue.

I'll try cutting the modem for 5 minutes and see if improvements this evening

When i had two comps at home connected via wireless network with shared internet connection it was not possible to connect silkroad on both of them simultaneously at rush hours. And even when i managed to connect both, i got dc in short time.

I dono what it is either.. My LAg has gone INSANE.. Like i try to pop into SRO once in a while to catch up with frnds.. but ever since the rollback.. Well HELLZ my lag has increased 10 times minimum..

I went on just after the Inspection n managed to move around for about 16 minst.. N then O THE HORROR... O THE HORRIBLE HORRIBLE LAG!

Lol, I don't mind it too much. Only died once to lag. Had nachals to myself for about an hour to two, because everyone that came in died.

If its any consolation, your still one of my favorite Babelites.

I used to have that problem when a trade run was passing by. I'd lock up for 15-20 seconds. I'd get control again when their theives spawned. Lately I get it (not so bad though) when I encounter a group of non player characters killing mobs nearby.

Athens has had it's first real bad lag since the update the last couple of days. Now I know what people from other servers are talking about.

They're prob to busy doing the cap/map update. Who knows, for waiting this long maybe they'll just give you all happy endings for compensation.

I am also experiencing really bad lag atm. My char on Babel always lags but usually not the 15-30 sec lag just 2-3 sec lag which is very small but still annoying when you are trying solely to grind. I am also experiencing a problem wheere i click my char to do something for e.g. move somewhere and after 3-5 seconds he does it...this is with anything be it move, skill, talk to npc, open a shops window...ANYTHING this is very annoying as it restricts me from doing anything except for selling items in a stall (-.-)'. I was so sick of this terrible lag that i just said to myself what the heck i'll make a pure int nuker on Alps server for the hell of it because ive always wanted to see what it's like to be a pure int nuker (apparently it's fun)....BUT the movement lag etc IS STILL THERE!!! not to mention the other type of lag which is actually even worse than on Babel O_o this is really confusing me and what is the fun in playing a game where the only thing you can do is stall. No. there is no fun. JoyMax needs to sort this problem out fast!
