Ok heres the thing.... I feel like oim lvling very slow even though im only lvl 18. I mean seriously i ttakes me 2 days just to get to 60 percent... At my lvl i should be lvling like once a day but i dunno whats wrong. Im not grinding on a ticket but i cant buy em anyways (parents wont let me). I kill everything pretty fast. I just use lion shout and soul spear and they are dead (im Int Hybrid). I may kill em fast but the percentage is most definetly NOT going fast.

You should be buying an arseload of pots. Figure out a ratio at which you consume hp pots compared to mp, and buy like... a lot.

I put MP Pots at 35 percent and hp at 85. The pots percents are good because i always have enough MP for a move. Now im gonna buy a lot of pots tommorow and see if i can lvl up.

by ShizKnight
Figure out how many stacks of mp you use per hp.
For example:
I use about... 5 mp stacks per hp.
So I would buy like 20 mp stacks, and 4 hp stacks.
Just a random example. You want to grind for at least 90 min straight with a set of pots. You might want to aim lower at a lower level though, since you level faster and have quests to do or turn in.

i think another reason why i lvl so slow is cause it takes time for me to actually find a mob. They are scattered everywhere so yeah lol. Thanx for the tips though. Tommorow ill just try and not chat as much and just do constant killing.

are you training at bandit stronghold? If u take a lot of pots, never sit down, and train there you should train pretty fast.

Plus follow the quests 4 sure - they give you so much for xp/sp at that lvl, that it's honestly silly not to do them. I haven't looked on these forums

to see if there is a good quest guide, but if not [DONT FLAME ME] i know there is a great one at sro.mmosite.com [STOP PLANNING 2 FLAME ME] - lol anyways watch your quests and if u finish all quests @ a lvl and have nothing to do but grind, grind on what u were doing for your quest - that means it is around your lvl and should die fast - roll back a lvl of mob maybe just so it's faster. If you are stopping to pick up gold btw it will go slower. GL

grind on bandits.
go to the center of the bandit den where the sp farmers are. and at each corner of the 'building' are spawn areas for bandits, they spawn pretty quick so you just have to kill kill kill, I grinded there from about 17 - 20.

try lowering your hp pot %, 85 is high as hell. figure out how much the mobs you're grinding can crit you for, figure out how much of your total health that is, and double that. example: if you only fight one mob at a time, and you have 2k hp, and they can crit you for 400 dmg, then you wanna pot when you get to 800HP, or 40%. if you mob things to you, then you wanna go a bit higher maybe, if you find yourself dying at that %.

correct me if im wrong... and u might wanna tell use wat u killing and % per kill
EDIT: ok i miss understand coz u got lion shout + soul spear... that means ur highest lv gotta be around lv 16? or so...

just grind on same lv monsters

thats the answer to your question...

Just to let you know that's bs

did 1-22 in one day without a ticket on a new server, so no help from others to.
Actually the speed of lvling consist of 2 things:
1) the time it takes you to kill the mob
2) the time it takes you to get to the next mob
Thus, adviced is:
- to kill mobs that you can kill fast (1)
- to kill mobs that have a good spawnrate (2)
- to have grasswalk, a lvl 12 skill you can get from Lightning (2)
- if you found a mob like this, try to look for a quest where you have to fight the same mobs for (extra exp on top of your normal one.
If you want you can stop picking up all the drops, except items, elixirs and tablets, for a while (2). It just takes to much time for me sometimes. With only picking up the items I can still buy pots+an average weapon (+2/+3), and lvl way faster then when I do pick 'm up.
To make sure you can lvl long enough, so you don't have to run back to town every time, pick a good stack of hp/mp pots..
Well that's all I know =/

Why? The fact is, even without silk.. while being a blader and have npc gear you could lvl faster. He's just asking for advice, just because you're spoiled doesn't...
erm nvm

I also made a new char and played for about 3 hours or so. I got to lvl 18 no problem. I think you have to know what mobs to kill inorder to maximize your time properly. If you've played a char alrdy, you should alrdy know where the best grind spots are. At lv 18, I was grinding on bandits and black tigers (i think). I don't even have skills around my lvl. Planning to farm in the den, but I need to be able to kill archers with 1hit + imbue. That's going to require me to be lv 24 or higher to do that. When you get to lv 19 or 20, go hit up tom white tigers. A good white tiger spawn is near one of the top left TG spawn points near west ferry. just below the triple fork in the road. You should see a big cliff, btwn there is a good spawn for them. I grinded 20-22 today, so you should be able to do that too! Especially if you are using up to date skills.

Oh... U've got anything wrong with u also?
Anyway there are more things that u can do to lvl up faster:
pay more time for pure grinding, stop chatting, find a good spot, forget about trade/thief runs (when ur lvl>20), don't go on mobs that take long time to kill, and for lord's sake do quests! Over.

if you already SP framed or not planning to, make your gap 3 or less. You should go fast that way.
And as said 'hp auto potion on 85%'? you really have to lower that. You are burning up your potions for nothing.
And as everyone also states:
get at least 500 of each potions.
The key in grinding is making the perfect grind= you almost run out of potions the moment your weapon breaks and it's time to go back and repair it
