Yes another person quitting, I'll still be on the forums, but I'll probably slowly stop coming here too eventually. Anybody recommend a game BESIDES WoW, I can't pay 15 freaking dollars a month lol...

Reasons for quitting.
1. Poor service
2. Was hacked, put real money into the game= lost will to play
3. Sick of game in general, too much bs, links to #1

There's more but I'm just too lazy and tired to type them out lol.

I mean, why would someone hack you?

You can play GuildWars if you wanna O.o
Its nothing like SRO though XD Its more quest based than lvling based.
So theres no such thing as a "high lvl".

Ask Deadlyeyezz if its a good game :\ He bought it a while ago.

I got hacked at 60 and still play today. Quitter.

GWs is really cool game
you don't have to play for hours grinding at the same mob to get some level.. all you have to do is quests and follow the story line ..
Nothing such as noob and high level the cap is only level 20..

The best thing i found in GuildWars is that you don't need to bot there..
I mean if you killed a mob the mob will never spwan again.. and trust me going out there to do quests alone you will get pwned! you will need a team with you. which makes it fun..

And yes, sp was put into bow. Its useless ftw.

if you buy time cards from amazon.com its only $12 a month for wow ($24 for 60 days)

if you're looking for another free MMO, FlyFF is kinda cool in its own sense, a bit cartoony, but its pretty fun.

GW is what most people recomend since you buy the disc and you play for free

Archlord is out on beta (according to the bottom of my xfire) so you could check that out too.

Or try Space Cowboy, which does have a grind, but no botting, and fighting mobs is actual DOGFIGHTING, not pushing buttons and waiting for the animation like SRO.

It's free, and costs money for the Item Mall like SRO. IT's caused me to not play for several days now.

i know how you feel but sadly there are no other games like sro trust me iv looked..i like to thief and hunt where else can i do that

To true . The only alternative I consider from time2time is WoW.. and basically I don't like the way it looks.. to cartoonish if you ask me.

However in WoW there isnt server traffic and no item mall and no horrible service. Its acutally a smooth game.

Okay I guess my brother is quitting so he's giving me his char. So I guess I'm playing again. Monkey character ftw lol? : / Woo lvl 20 monkey blader, fun I guess lol.

This is the most confirming day of my life... confirming the the incompetence oftheSilkroad staff

I don't play for 2 weeks ,thenI come back 2 find both of my chars hacked!!!

1. All my stuffs gone (both chars+the Depo. stripped 2 the bone, only 3k left) even though all my SP is there(great)
2. Silkroad Sucks once more.. all the 6 months efforts put in the game were a waste
3. Not in the mood of playin seriously at all
4. The games much 2 corrupted met at least 10 hackers while playin, atleast 20 botters and many more ks'ers
Bottom line: The Silkroad community is rubbish
5. Only person who gives a damn is the guild master... the rest are asking me how i could've got hacked and how simple my security was, even though they know anybody can get hacked

I dunno if i should quit or go on playin this god forsaken game without any aim...

I know that feeling. There was this guy on Alps that got scammed out of pretty much everything he had trying to get a 42 sos glaive (the scammer tried to get me w/ a 42 sos spear, but I don't get scammed). Anyways, I didn't even know this guy and maybe seen him around only once or twice, but I lent him 500k to help him get back on his feet (I didn't have that much gold at the time). He was so happy that I helped him because his whole guild/union didn't give a dam about him and just laughed without offering to help him any. he couldn't even afford pots anymore lol. He did pay me back and showed me much gratification . Sorry to hear there wasn't someone for you.
