Taking a Break

Well, based on my events trying to play yesterday for like 45 mins without any actual playing... and because there is a lot of unnecessary drama in game right now, i decided to take a break from sro for a bit.
i recently created a wow account, and i have a lvl13 on (forgotten coast?) server. if anyone plays on that server as horde pm me Psyx.
anyway, i am not quitting sro, just waiting for joymax to pull their head out of their ass, stop making new servers, and fix all their problems, so once that happens i will be back, but for now i will log in every few days, just to check up on union/guild, and do any updates that need to be done with that, but thats about it.
EDIT: i will still be on the forums daily so pm me if you need anything.

The time to take a break would've been after summer ended. Why would you quit now when the update is coming in (possibly) less then a month? And what drama?

i am taking a break now because joymax keeps saying things will get better and honestly i have noticed 0 improvement on connecting issues, 0 improvement on ????? errors, 0 improvement on bots, 0 improvement on DC problems, and 0 improvement on lag, so until i see at least a few of these things get fixed, im just tired of it.
the drama is in my union, and is already posted here in another thread, but not in its entirety (sp?) its just annoying things basically.

hehe, yea, well, everyone goes to wow simply because...
1. it is not full of bots, when you see a player, they are actually a person. Isnt that the whole point of an MMOrpg? i think so. i hate running up to someone and not being able to talk to them cuz they are botting.... sigh...
2. the GMS care
3. there are WAY more things to do in the game, and it never gets boring.
4. people get tired of the issues i mentioned above.

trust me man, IT IS. at first i thought i wasnt going to like it, but now, i have changed my thoughts and i can honestly say it is the best MMO ever.

After I am capped + farmed I might head to wow...that or help grind someones alt.
WoW has chineese gold farmers and bots too...

They have gold farmers, they dont have bots. You cannot get a bot program thru there system. Anyways, you should have gone alliance so you could play with rom.

Good luck and see you in a few years. Even tho WoW a good game. You will find your going to have loads of problems there. LOL left over DRAMA ohh you seen nothing yet. I will say one thing about a bot.. No drama from that but what you want to make.
SRO you don't have point systems or DKP. WoW you can solo your way to 60 but after that if you want any really good gear? Your going to have to join a raiding guild. At this point most raiding guilds your going to join have people with so many points banked your never going to see a uber item. Thats when the fun really gets good. People get stessed over the made up items.
LOL and if you want those GOOD items from a raiding guild. Your going to have to keep a 50-80% attend raids. Your going to have to log on at set time and stay for the full raid. The game becomes a job.
How many people killed themselfs over SRO. Now google WoW and find out?
You may say that could happen any place. But the drama in WoW/EQ is about thousand times more then SRO ever could be.

I'd like to try WoW but I don't have that kind of money to p2p and my parents don't want to. So I don't want to try the free trial because I'm afraid I'll get hooked lol.

i am dealing with the drama, and it is getting taken care of, like i said i will still be running my guild no matter what i do, i still log in often, and take care of whatever needs to be taken care of.
