Well, I was doing the lvl 17 quest where you collect 60 black tiger claws. After picking one up I noticed apparently I wasnt picking up claws.....but skins, according to the quest guide! Take a look see:

Indeed it says skins, but I thought we were picking up talons(like it says in inventory)/claws?!?!! Even in the text box it says claw. Haha! Funny little mess up. Silly silkroad.

personally my favorite SRO mess up is the "0" tex. i dont think it is AS bad these days but definitely still around. during alpha and beta alot of quest had no text at all just a 0 and when you complete a quest it would say 0 on the screen instead of go talk to so and so quest completed.

Ya Ive seen that one, its just like ugh. The funny thing about this one is that I finished the quest and it said "you have completed collecting all the black tiger talons, go to talk to Flora...." in that same blue text. So uhhhhh ahaha. Yet again, silly SRO.

the "0" still comes up nowadays when someone joins your party from the party match system. it may only happen when the party gets filled, not sure.

It happens when the party is filled, presumably in place of a message saying your entry has been removed from the matching system.

it's funny also when you're creating a character certain words like "punk" for example come back as "invalid". (as if it's a swear word) ... i don't know if they're just trying to limit the amount of "punkchick" or "punkdude" characters but it's treated as if it's a swear word. :cry:

no, that's real. i saw it on my first day of playing and was liike "wtf? they can't say that in games ^^". they may have changed it since then, but i can assure you it did at one time say just that.

What I find amusing is that although I am not allowed to swear in my own language, I can say the rudest things imaginable in romanised chinese - anyone who speaks Cantonese will know exactly which phrases I regularly use

lol...as if I haven't posted it enough. Go to Wikipedia, search the word "Glaive", find it, scroll down to the bottem, read the text, and then think about how dumb you must be looking ^_^
