New Level Cap

Hey,
I've heard that Joymax is raising the level cap. So does anybody know whats going on with the skills. Are they gonna also up the skills max lvl to 90 or keep it at 70. Or are they gonna raise the mastery total to like 500 and raise the max skill level to 90? Just wan't to know because I'm sp farming and am shooting for 100k sp so I can get Fire, Ice, Light, and Bicheon, but if there is only enough mastery total to master 2 or three then I won't need to farm as much.
Help Appreciated

Wow...I sense some bitterness.
Oh, and because of everything that I have learned here, gonna have to disagree with you.
To answer the original question, best we understand it, when the lvl cap is raised, the Mastery Cap (300) will remain the same. However, you will be able to raise the skill masteries from 70 to 90, however, from the reading I have done (here of all places) I do not think there will be new skills, just the extra damage % from extra skill mastery levels.
Look
here for a complete discussion on the topic.
I hope that answers your question. If you have any other questions take a look at the
Characters and Skills forum, a lot of good info there.

From what I gathered at the site, it seems that the max mastery will be 70. They are also adding in a fourth version of each imbue for lvl 65-69 and a new heal. Also some new versions of skills from Pacheon, Heuskal, and Bicheon. There are no actually new skills just improved ones. It said this at the top of the page for each skill to "Original stuff from Korean official manual." Post your thoughts please.

That site isn't all that great. It's ok, but it's poorly designed, the forum is pretty crappy and all the info can easily be found on here or tavern.

Seriously,
this thread is a great place to read most of what we understand about what will take place after the cap is raised.

The 300 mastery limit is the most confusing part for me - 2 masteries? Yet GMs say that hybrids will 'shine later on' - how can they with 2 masteries? (I'm referring to the 150 cap, not whatever the next one is)

Thanks Baugar,
Now the real question is not if there going to up the max mastery level from 300 (cause we know it probably won't increase). The real question is will they keep the maximum lvl of a skill at lvl 70 or increase it to the level of the new the cap. For ex. if your lvl 90 will you only be able to get lvl 70 fire.
If they do make it so your maximum skill level (not mastery) at the 150 cap is 150 then pretty much every level 70 that invested in more than 2 masteries is screwed. Also this would completely wipe out the force skill, if you can only have 2 skills then you must have a weapon and at least one force with an imbue, so therefore no healers

What makes you think its gonna be lv 90 cap (korean version) and not 80 cap (japanese version)? Especially since there has been no words offcially from Joymax.

Yes, Hunter, you will be able to raise your mastery to lvl 90, however, as best I can tell from the reading I have done around here, and the SS I have been able to look at, there will not be any new skills after lvl 70.
Basically, you will be able to level up your mastery to get the extra damage percentage, but there will be no new skills.

Hybrid and Pure builds in SRO don't mean what skills you choose, they refer only to how much relative STR and INT you have. A hybrid sword in SRO could have lightning mastery and no other masteries, and it would still be a hybrid sword. Plus, at 300 mastery cap you don't need to stick to 2 masteries. You can get almost every skill (and every available passive) right now with 60 mastery. For example, a STR user at 150 will probably have 150 weapon, 100 imbue (probably fire), 50 buff tree (almost definitely lightning) OR 150 weapon, 90 imbue, 60 buff tree.
