Lonely Days on SRO

Every day I hear that more people in my guild, union, friends list, and here on SRF are leaving the game. Either on a temp leave or permanently.

The number one reason is bots and overcrowding (they seem to go hand in hand). Closely followed by bordom and homework.

There have been days that I was the only person in my guild in SRO, despite numerous people being in our Vent server. Union chat is almost perpetually quiet.

This really makes me sad. Are others seeing the same issues in their guilds/unions?

If you left what would it take to get you to come back?

Well unfortunatly. The main reasons i left were Overcrouding/Lagg n game getting way to repetative... So ill come back for sure, I would just like them to at least REDUCE the lag os one can PLAY..

Personaly ive never been bothered by a botter.. I mean yah i see them all the time. But never have i been bothered by them.

So its the Lag n Overcrowding mainly for me..

But to get me to QUICKLY come back,,, Add euro

still got my friends playing almost dailey and some guildies are still around as well. union on the other hand just a few of us talk every now and then, thier pretty much doin thier own thing

Well i quit because its getting imposible for me to grind with all the botters..
I still login sometimes waste some of the silk i still have there on global chats and might do some thieving or goof around with thief suit..
For me i might come back sro when they:
1.Take off astral from item mall make it a drop or something like that because the game is a matter of random numbers now and its all about real money, the more you spend money on this game the stronger you are..
2. add more payment methods so my friends wont get banned anymore because of scammers selling silk and charging back, its just sick and sad watching your friends getting banned and its only jaymax's fault for not adding more mothods..
3. start baning botters. i am not asking to ban them all. just give us the hope that someday people will get scared when botting..
4.More easy to login the game, its just stupid sitting there trying to login the game for like 30 mins..

I am playing Guildwars now sometimes an it seems really nice game.. no item mall thing, just pay once to buy the game, no ksing or stuff like that.
really nice and funny pvp system, and the cap is only 20.. when you hit the cap you still have alot to do..
its has a real story with real quests. and a point for playing..

Yeah I know that feeling. When I login right now I'm the only one who's active in our guild. Even my old friends aren't playing anymore. Although I see 1 to 2 people sometimes. It just feels sad though. I'm beginning to lose my motivation myself. Added to that is the No Quest part which I am in now. Although many people go through with the leveling part from 42 to 45 with no quest, I bet most people quit at this level lol. The lag bothers me very much. I died several times due to the lag losing almost 100k experience. The overcrowding, with a little patience I can live with. The bots? They're entertainment. KSing them motivates me to grind lol and before I know it, its level up. Although they do clog the servers since they're on all the time. I'm currently eyeing on guild wars as well.

Our union is still active, but our guild has only 3 active members now, including myself. Number 1 reason being school or just not being dedicated to the game. Hardly ever get complaints about bots from lower lvls, just high lvls who are stuck in the cave w/ksing bots. And I guess lag isn't as big an issue as it is in other servers. Sure there's still noticable lag every once in a while, but it's not constant.

Though my union is still the same, old guilds from the beginning are still there (not MX_Cavalers because they disbanded or joined nyghtbreed), and we're still having fun...

How is it joymax's fault that people are too stupid to take hede to the advice the clearly gave, over and over.

There were server notices, a post on their website, specifically stating not to allow people to buy silk for you..

in the end, regardless of the lack of payment options, its your friend's fault for being stupid enough to get scammed.

I hate people who blame others for their own stupidity..

As for astrals there should be a lvl restriction on them.
If you're not high enough to use 8th degree gear you shouldn't be allowed to buy astrals for that degree.
it would put and end to people making random accounts and buying tons of astrals for their real chars.

It wouldn't completely put a stop to it, but it would sure mitigate the obvious problem. why they haven't done something about it is beyond me.
and as for bots...

The real reason they haven't banned many of them. IS BECAUSE OF MORONS COMPLAINING ABOUT ACTUAL LEGIT PLAYERS BEING BOTTERS

if it wasn't for the random false accusations then maybe this problem wouldn't be as rampant...

Consider the overwhelming amount of bots, that have to be eliminated.
then the overwhelming amount of **** falsely accusing someone just because they don't like them..

I know what you mean man. I have almost nobody left from my very close friends on there. What would bring people back is if someone paid attention to iSRO. its so annoying how we never have anything going on compared ot the other versions, and we get updates so very much later. Why would you wanna play?

What do you honestly expect? The game has no content what so ever. The only ones you can fight are the ones that will run away from you - so you dont have to fight them. Great ..... idea crapmax!

Would it really matter if you had quests? You would still be doing the same thing - grind.

Progress, why are you even here? It's obvious you don't care for this game at all.

Quests make the grind faster since there is less grind to do.

Way to tear down people's motivation and try to cause them to quit the game. By doing your best to discourage people from playing, u ruin the game almost as much as botters since you're tearing down good people who enjoy the game and disheartening them.

i origanlly left SRO for hero online, which i ended up quitting as well.

When I came back on Troy, even though I have some money on it, the people of troy are generally not nice besides your own guild, and as much as some people say there isnt anymore, I still felt lag. On the newer servers, I'm not feeling the lag, and find it more enjoyable to actually grind cuz of the less lag =X?

I don't really have the need to give up on sro.. I love the gameplay, the downsides sro has I just live with.

I'm pure int, so those who try to ks me will just get ks'd back.. meaning that unless they are botters they regret ksing me most of the time

. And lag.. what lag?

. I lag sometimes in towns when they're dam crowded, but then again I'm not much in towns so I that doesn't really bother me.

I have never faced this problem so far... as i have a awesome guild and moreover an awesome union members...
V work as a team.. and every 1 contributes to te GUILD.
The best part of the Guild is our GM.... an unforgetable person.. who makes it to a point 2 help his Guild members....

Our GM.. puts in a lot of games.. i wuld say its Guild Quests :love:

The quest may be for a week or so.. but an awesome gift will b there for us....
Comin 2 our Union.. man they r all over our lvl & they have helped us in our Trade runs many a times......

for all the well known reasons. i just cant stand them anymore. this game is great but JM has to do something
i really like this game and ill miss my char. especially my wolf. i stay on this forum cos i like you all very much (ye, even this Chaud bloke

atm i think ill wait for JM and log on sometimes for a bit of chatting or hunting. i wanted to get my char to 69 but i dont think i will grind the missing 10% anymore. whenever i enter the cave i feel like murdering every bot and uninstall sro right away, so i avoid it

That's my opinion lol. Quests can help you out when leveling so at least you'll be much nearer to your goal (or you can at least fool yourself that you are). Anyway, I bought Titan Quest to try it out. Most probably I'm gonna buy Guild Wars as well. The lag in Babel is really annoying me nowadays.

It's even more booring on Aege, becouse almost everyone seems to have more fun on like xian, troy or babel. Aege is just lonely.... btw i havnt played for two weeks now----

and the quests are sooo boring all they do is help you grind...
