Im a lvl 30 pure str glavie atm...what do u guys recommend i use? I see a lot of high lvls with garment, but i hear other ppl use armor because it owns vs mobs and other pure strs..what do u suggest?

get a set of both if you have the money, cuz it is good to have a set of armor for mobs, and garm is DEF better for pvp, especially against nukers, if you are wearing armor vs. a nuker, you will get eaten for breakfast.

hmm...not sure i would be able to afford a tricked out blue set of both?

but garment vs some mobs aint so bad eh? I mean u got plenty of health and pots..right? o.0

Using garment since level 16..
Full str blade tho..
never used armor or protecter because they both ugly and they will slow me down..

Just get some good garment set instead of wasting money on 2 sets..
my garment is all +3 or more..
And alot of HP and str added..

Also depends on how good your equipment and buffs are.
Without buffs and with bad armor you WILL be eaten for breakfast.
Dmg might go up to 8k even if you DO have buffs.
And how much pure STRs have? Like 12k-13k HP?
2 or 3 nukes and your raped.

For now, I'd go with the garment since there are alot of mag. mobs heading your way.. (?)

I was thinking about gunpowders, taoists, scorps.

yeah, im concerned about both pve and pvp, would it just be the right thing to go with garment? sorry i sound like a broken record...but...rawr...o.0

I'm Full Str on Alps, Glavie aswell.

Full Str+Garment+Fire Protection=Good protection against both Phy & Mag damage (or, decent against both instead of good/bad, bad/good)

rawr indeed! It's up to you; don't let people pressure you into something you don't like. I'm pure str and I intend to use armor at later levels because I want to play to my strengths. It's your choice.

u guys think a tricked out garm set will do it well?

So many threads about this same topic.. Search button is your friend. Anyways I'd go garmet.

If you have absolutly any brain cells at all youll do what nukers do get a deceant set of both and use them depending on the mob no smart person just sticks with one set of clothes

ok fyi thats sorta sad if u pure str ur sopposed to dominate the pvp field it should be a 50/50 thing if this is true there is something wrong with ur build beucase he should not win half the time u should win almost every time if not there could be a few things wrong

1. ur build sux
2. u botted and cant fight cuase botters suc at pvp

either way u should be winning even if ur a botter with a flarked up build

For STR glaive, I say protector. Has a pretty high mag. def and also a good phy. def + it has some of the speed and mana bonuses that garments give. I don't know, I like 'em but only once I hit 8th deg. Up until 8th deg I used garms.

Maybe in PVP, but I get a set of each, and when I grind prot. saves me a lot of pots.

I use both. Garment for PvP. Armor for Grinding.

1) yea my buit proly suxs cause its to my liking and not cookie cut like the rest....
2) really? i bot....dam didn't know that. how do i find out about me botting? not sure how it works but let me know once you do cause i dont like to bot and am against it youd think id be lvl 70 by now but im still 45 think my bot isn't lvling as fast as it should......
ohh and how can i have my bot pvp???
