I give them 1. Maybe it's the companys fault, and not theirs, but you know, who cares, I have to bitch.

Reasons:

1. Bot- GM's got selfowned. After giving 1 month blocks they decided to block forever. I'd like it to be that way. But they figured out that most of botters buy silk. So they shoulde'v leave it at 1month block, and block every botter, they would stop eventually. Altough Id like them to block forever, but it obviusly wont happen. I think its cause GMs make bot, but who knows...

2. CCF- A simple thing like Monkey has lvl restirciton, yet Astrals/Immortals dont. GG!

3. Lag- Since the 12 hour "upgrade" its ..... horror!

4. Crayon- He thinks if he'll come online, and tell a joke, all problems will be gone, guess again, they wont.

5. Information- Their site offers no important information, yet when you request some... you dont get it!

6. Lying- Why say theres gonna be an event and then dont make it. Dont lie!

I don't know if the GM's have to do much with it. Maybe theyre just liek moderators and then there are also admins who decide bout the main things...

This was on Oasis last night. There was a GM's Blessing outside the south gate of Donwhang and like a few minutes later all of these bots starting pouring out. I didn't capture them all, but I counted 5 here; there were more however.

GM circles last night on Xian too.

Erm, what do you mean 'all these bots pouring out' ?

I gave a 3 cause, alltho its clear to me the gm's are doing nothing. I have no idea whats going on behind the scenes, for all I know tomorrow a patch will be released where 99.99% of all bots get blocked *forever*

You shouldnt blame any of this on the GM

Its not their fault Joymax doesn't employ more of them.

Theres only 3 official ones and 11/12 servers (I lost count)

You can't possibly expect 3 people to manage all that.

What they do on their time, is not their choice. And if they are doing something OTHER than blocking bots, its probably one of their duties.

Blocking bots is NOT the only things GM's do, and we really don't know if what they are doing is important, and its not ours to decide.

And who says they don't block bots?

Notice lots of high level people you don't see anymore? Suddenly quit the game, eh? Didnt notice lots of high level guilds becoming in inactive and dying off?

You didnt think for even a moment that perhaps they were blocked and THEY CANT play?

CCF? Do you honestly think GM has anything to do with payment processes, how it functions and works?

How come all these problems bother you so much? I think you forgot about all the fun things that do exist in this game. Honestly? I stopped being jealous about bots at 70 and really don't care much nowadays.

Like it or not, its ten times more pleasant to train next to a bot who leaves you alone, than train next to an asshole in the mask room.

Let's see......sit in a chair, make stupid jokes, don't ban any bots, dont fix any problems(and when I try to I screw even more up), continue to speak bad english......sign me up! I want that job!

Man, GM blessing mean he is there/nearby, and all the bot run through and nothing is done, how could he not be aware of it
Look at the freakin spawn point those guy are 99% bot 1 % of it are people who use return scroll and had to run to the rest room.

Their not banned, they stop grinding and pvp/job. Since high lvl spend the bulk of their time working thier GT off, you don't get to see them.

Also, you'll be surprise how many of those lvl 70 account have changed owner through the use of Ebay.

I stopped caring about botter and CCFer, eventually SRO will burn itself out. I jsut can't believe how JM could be so financially careless, if given proper management, this game is among the top MMORPG and can take on WoW. You guy don't realize in a finacial sense from the time open service till now dude to careless manegement JM have lost milion in potential profit.

I don't think it's all the GM's fault. There just aren't enough of them to do everything that needs to be done.

AS for the bots pouring out, it is really funny how many "players" log off then a GM is online then suddenly reappear when they leave. Amazing how areas are suddenly deserted when they arrive.

To the comment about high levels not being on, thats because they've capped and are now leveling multiple lower level characters. What else are they going to do when fully farmed? look around at huyncheons, blood death flowers, bunwangs, shades, muiji, and penons some time, the sheer number of them is obscene. Even the gold farming bots are now in their 60's. Its no wonder there's lag, full servers all the time and bad inflation.

Oh, training and in the caves huh? Thats why so many dead inactive guilds are falling apart. Thats why so many people quit. When I said "never see" I didn't mean "never seen cuz they are in the cave". I meant, cuz they "quit" or "don't play anymore".

For the nitpicks: No im not saying ALL those players are banned, but I am sure some have been.

Ummm no. I'd start a new char and just be like "yeah, new char" too.

Also, don't throw around "fully farmed" like its really common.

Meh, if they just randomly made people have whatever it is that makes the bot think a person is a GM. Then all the bots will make noise randomly, and d/c or port back to town.

Also I should mention, each person has a specific wishlist of 2-5 exact botters out of 9999 that they want banned NOW

I concede some of the points, but without them telling us they have banned people all we can do is speculate.

I don't know that it's the GM's job to do that either, but someone should.

I still love this game, but wish that some things would be handled better. I gave them a 3.

Ryoko, you should check out Oasis some time, a lot of botter guilds with high lvls are still around, they havent been banned at all

with this going on, it's hard to think that they are actively working on a solution...

And yes sometimes its better to have to grind next to a botter than some annoying moron, but. not when the entire earth ghost soldiers/warriors rooms are full of them, and it's impossible to do anything but grind on lower lvl mobs and occasionally check back and hope a bot lagged out and died etc.

The GMs barely speak english, cant bane anyone for anything as long as there makeing money. I rate them a 0.

they need more, that's all there is to it. The ones we have do what they can I'm sure, but 3 people cannot maintain 11 servers perfectly, that's how it goes. It should be more like 1 GM per server. IMO each GM should have only one server that they're dedicated to, because even each server is very different from one another.

hmm where is this guilds dying and people stopped playing? In Troy its the same people, sometimes guilds die and reform into new ones, but all the players are still there. Same botters too, everyone knows who they are, its kind of accepted now but its sad, cuz people have seen them bot their way up to 70 and still continue doing so. Other people who are fully farmed who have been caught botting multiple times don't need to bot anymore, so whatever they do now, most likely they'll be safe with their fully farmed SOS wearing characters. Do the GMs complain to Joymax at all? Because if they really cared about us they would. Sure there might not be enough GMs, but the ones we have should actually try harder!!! ><

As I see it, it is the legit players who leave. It is not fun at all competing with people who bot.

Rating GM's work is hard because we never get any information of what is happening. Last ban list.. I don't remember when that was. JM's customer support is one of the worst I have come in contact with and it is sad that they treat us this way. If I would rate the support, it would be a certain 0.

With all the money we have spent on this game, I would like to see improvements and not a decline in services. More GM's, better support, better information regarding what they do to improve the game for us, more information about the future updates, more question and answer notices every week, reasonable number of botters being banned EVERY month (10 bots/server is ludicrous), fixing bugs regarding skills... the list can continue forever I guess.

i gave em a 3. I agree with Ryoko: just because theyre authority figures we put all joymax's numerous problems on them. It's not all their fault. I think theyre doing very well considering their numbers-- but perhaps we need more people to help them so they can do a better job. Crayon tries to lighten up moods and get people to like him, and also why would botters bother to buy silk??!?! They bot anyway, not like a monkey or white wolf or gold ticket is really going to matter to them all that much, though a gold ticket could perhaps save them on internet and electricity bills.
I think a lotta legit players leave, but from my experience the uber-high lvl legit guilds almost always stay intact, far more than the uber-noob botter guilds.

ok lets see here.....Over 7 servers.....Over a thousand people on each server.....Now lets see u guys moderate 7000+ players without flaws and failures?

Hey, I guarantee if I alone had GM powers, able to go invisable and not die or w/e, I would get proof of TONS of bots, and have a huge freakin ban list.

Seriously its not hard to find a bot, ya know they are everywhere its not like finding a needle in a hay stack, I was in lower lvl areas yesterday while bear hunting and im serious, it was harder to find a legit player then a bot, I was asking tons of ppl if they have seen any bears, like 2 or 3 ppl weren't afk, out of at least 50, those areas are packed with bots.

I gave them a 1, yes there arn't alot of gm's so i'm mainly blaiming and hating joymax for being so ignorent they can't seem to be bothered to employ enough gm's to take care of the situations going on in the game..

But even though theres 3 gm's *I thought there was another one gargamel or something*

They could try and stop the botting a bit more wasn't there a post where a guy said that he told a gm there was someone botting right next to him and the gm saw it and said he wasn't botting..wtf? So even though they suposibly stop botting, I don't see them doing alot, just here and there and probably ban people who don't buy enough silk.

As for joymax, there the ones who deal with the lag and ccf they need to fix up as a company, as well as employ more customers, they get more then enough money from people buying silk, they should be able to do something.. Theres so much I could say to flame joymax but.. i'm not in the mood for today cause i'm already upset with something and i'm not going to waste my time geting myself angry over joymax..

To the people using the excuse of x number of servers vs 3 GMs.
GMs have been shitty ever since the beginning, it isn't anything new.

Actually this should be a thread about how we r8 JM... I mean it's not (only) the GM's fault, that so many bots r still online. If there would be more GMs the game would get better.

One of the worst things in this game is the security If my bro meets hackers on the game and they laugh about the security-measures and it's lvl, I'm seriously worried.

cut I don't know how good the GMs r doing their job I won't r8. I just give JM 4.... good game and many many flaws -.-

Maybe GMs should quit cos everyone is complaining they do nothing. And then we'll see what SRO would be like without them.
