I solved 1* problem

Set a time limit for when you have to reach a city.....if you wanna go to 1 city to another(maybe 15 minutes) if you wanna go from JW to HO(maybe 25 minutes). At the end of your time....ur cargo simply drops if you do not make it and you cant pick it back up. The time will be short enough that if you waste time or take long routes......no $$$ for you. Thieves will have easier time getting loot and no NPC spawn for player thieves so no more of the "2 word problem."

um... yuo would nee to carry your horse/camel to come ven close to those times, jagan-don, if i remember correctly, took at least half an hour with a horse, a short route, and no problems

Kinda so so the idea remember that everyone who play doesn't have a ubber computer ,there are people even playing with graphic cards (like me lol) and a trade of 15 minutes takes even the double

the time suggested were jus to make my point....i know you cant make a trade run in 15 minutes, but i didnt wanna say 2 hours

Yeah set a time limit on trade runs...

Thieves can just look for multistars to rob. If you want to rob a 1 star, let them die on their own and take the loot. There's not much in it for you, as a thief, to rob a 1 star anyway. The multi-stars are out there and really aren't that hard to find. It takes a good thief to find the larger, more profitable targets.

Indeed. In the meantime, thieves should actually show their skills in taking down larger targets instead of preying on little 1 star traders. Also I think 1 star should be limited to some kind of level cap (maybe 30 or so??)... but that's a moot point because of the upcoming update.

All so complicated. Why?
Eliminate the 1* system. Low level thief and hunter don't get protection.
Make the game fair. Give thieves something to do. Give hunters a reason to hunt.
Problem solved. Crying gone.
The whole point of jobs is the PVP side of SRO. We don't have seperate PVP and non-PVP servers. Your eliminating that when you protect certain individuals.

I'm lvl 70, lvl 3 thief. I've made probably all but 15% of lvl 2 popping 1 stars. I tried 1 full week of no 1 star popping. I ended up taking down the only 2 multi-stars I found. 1-star popping is the ONLY thief income.

Agreed. I dont care to wait for those "plenty 2*" people talk about.
I wanna do thief job in my reasonable ammount of time spent.
IE: Now.
If your gonna even protect those 1* traders, then no one over 40+ should be allowed 1*.
In compensation, the trade should be worth twice as much to encourage people and make trading worth it.

That's a good point. I've always wondered why low level traders get protection but low level thieves and hunters don't. Maybe it would be a good idea to get rid of 1* protection altogether and, perhaps, set a restriction on level gap between jobbers. i.e., a thief can only attack a trader no more than 5 or 10 levels below them, or a hunter can only hunt a thief so many levels below them.

If noobs would waste less time on 1*, and more time on grind, they wouldn't get popped.
Besides, next update trades will actually make money, a maxed 1m ox going to hotan, 647%...OWNS.
