this thing come up to my head when i was lv 24. this guy got sos drop just(sword 24) infront of me and he didnt pick it up at once. he just stood there, i ran to the sos n click like mad . No, i dont got it . that fella become my friend .lol

-Botter/gold farmer
-have the time to nuke him down b4 he pick the loot
-far from town/ppl

I have a confession. Back long ago when I was lvl 16 and SP farming at bandit farm, this guy got an SoS drop from Bandit Giant. He didn't have a monkey so I don't think he noticed his drop right away. Server had just restarted and we were the only 2 SP farmers in the camp. I murdered him, and picked up the SoS before he could get to it. I was hoping Iron Bow, but it just ended up being a stupid SoS ring. Long story short, I ended up de-lvling and gave him back his SoS ring. I'm not proud of what I did, but this was back when I was still a greedy n00b. Would I do it again? Hellz yeah!!!!

Well I usually press z when I get a drop, dunno why just habbit..

If a sos dropped for a guy nice, but if its where I am now 8th degree sos WEAPON, ..... yeah i'll murder him ^_~

I think I'd only murder for the SOS if the player is a botter. If it's a normal player, the SOS is theirs. When my mobs drop things I'll constantly spam the autograb hotkey (set to spacebar) just in case something good dropped. I'll even grab while I'm in a fight, letting my wolf handle the monster while I grab.

I killed someone for a weapon elixar before.....I was out the south gate of DW killing earth ghosts and some guy gets a weapon elixar. Cool cool. Next creature he kills drops another one. So I drop him take the elixar and then killed 1100 tigers to take away murder status. : )

if i see that he drops an sos and dosnt pick it up right away then he is dead and the sos is mine
but only if im in an area where i could possibly use the items or it is close to my level

ive murdered people because i saw them level up next to me... of course i would do it for sos.

id likely do it even if it was blatantly ill-timed and they picked it up like 15 seconds ago. if they have a monkey, youll have to be very fast to ninja them with a zerked ghost spear.

Hyori stole 68 sos armor from Atit_Sin on babel while he was botting just by constantly frosting him until the item ownership was cleared.

When you're SP farming, you gotta de-lvl once bandits start giving you no SP cause of the lvl difference. As stated, I had to de-lvl after i murdered him to get back to under lvl 20 in order to get adequate SP. Also, you can add Stats which to your character when you lvl up, which remain, even though you de-lvl. For example, if you lvl up to 21, and add all into STR, you can de-lvl back to 16 and keep those Str pts. Thats why I was able to murder. Maybe I shouldn't have said lvl 16, since that's the lvl in which you get maximum amount of SP off of bandit archers. I was too general...sorry.
