hoping change to if u suspect that ppl is botting u click on he and it would random give he a quiz , thing like 1+1 equal or wat ur name and in 15min if u can't answer u r ban from the game, and recommend afk mode program if u u click and something appear like vending u can't use any skill or etc until u disable it

this is probably one of the best ways ive heard, but i think the botter should be caught in the act of botting by a GM to get banned.

So in theory anyone who sucks at maths would get banned in an instant?

But, yes we all hate botters. And no we can not do much about it.
It's all up to Joymax if a botter gets banned or not.
If they even had a little bit of will to ban botters, there wouldn't be a single one running around right now.
They are so easy to detect, anyone who has a little bit of knowledge about the game knows when someone is botting or not.

All they want is money, botters want to lvl up quick, so most of them buy tickets, monkeys and what ever else.
So while they keep the money flowing in, they won't do a thing about those botters.
Joxmax a company and they call the game free.
But a company can not survive without getting any profit of their product.
It's hard to advertise in a game, so that's a no go.
The thing that gets them the most money is silk.

I have said this before, but aparantly no one bothers to read previous made threads about botters.

but by increasing the player cutting down bot case is better. new player some juz play silkroad dun even noe can bot when they noe i think they leave also. as they say tibet juz start but full of gold botter. plus not all botter pay for silk like money and etc. i think handplay pay more then botter but when they found out have botter guess 80% they quit if joymax really wan upkeep thier profit cutting down botter is the best cos problem dc and hard login

1 more thing is free dun scare silkroad no player lah and if they can make this game free bot , maybe become the hottest game

free game i can make 5 acc then bot at the same time then mean 5k ppl onli equal 1k inside is real player

OK this is the most flawed and ridiculous thing I have ever seen, I myself like to go idle every now and then but dont like to have to use return scroll, only to run all the way back out to caves..
So i hide somewhere in caves, where no agros usually go to..
say someone is mad because I ruined their trade run, then they see me idle...
and decide to f- me over, they will succeed due to the fact i was idle..

this would be the stupidest most abused thing possible.
it's bad enough that people like me trick noobs into attacking protectors so they will die. imagine the harshe consequences of 100's of people being wrongfully banned out of pure spite

Wtf did you just say?

Bots are only bad in games were you can solo and don't need any kind of support to level. You could make it so classes need each othere more and give better group exp. This alone would make a botters job alot harder.

With that being said. I do love logging on and not having to look for a group to go exp. I played EQ for a long time and Silkroad is the flip side of that game. EQ you needed a group for almost everything.

Wonder if they could work out a system that will let you do both?


High level mobs that takes a group to kill and great exp with a high % of getting an SoS or good blues. Just keep those in the back while letting those who just want to solo the easy stuff up front. This may not help with the botters but it would give us who PLAY and like to group more of reason to not worry about the botters. You would make 2 classes of toons. Players with skills killing and getting great items and botters with crappy gear.

Then you have a whole new set of problems. Groups of people camping the best gear while everyone goes hungry.

LOL so after thinking about this.. No sure way of fixing this with out making a whole new set of problems.
