Give joymax a break!

Post by Innovacious »

Ive had enough about all these posts complaining about Joymax. Complaining about lag, complaining about botters and so on.

As ive said before. Do you think they are just sitting on there asses all day doing nothing! Not only do they have at least 5 different language versions of silkroad to work on but they do also make other games. And at the moment they are going to be very busy with europe.

Although its not actually classed as it, this game is still a beta version. Its no where near finished and they are more than likley gonna be working on it as we speak. And because its still really a beta, its gonna hev bugs, its gonna have botters. Your just going to have to wait until its more developed.

Also. Spamming them with bot lists? Hell yeah, thats gonna work [/sarcasm]. They are just going to see spam and delete it. Why would they listen to someone who spams them? Would you? No.

And not buying silk?............. If a large enough group of people dont buy silk to actually make them notice then all thats gonna happen is they are going to have less money to work with.

I could probably go on but i doubt many people will listen and will just continue with their hatred towards joymax. So one final note

If you dont like it, just leave it. At this stage in a games development there isnt anything you can do.

Innovacious is right.

Of course, sometimes the 'pleasant gaming' isn't so pleasant, and 'smooth patching experience' isn't so smooth, not to mention the lag, but I'm sure they're not sitting on their asses trying to annoy us with lags and all the things people are complaining about.

Think of those updates, people can get new pets, new places are coming, all those Guild features they stuffed into the game, and I bet everyone liked making a guild icon! :) We got new servers so the others won't be as overloaded, so people can't say their not doing anything to improve the games or that they're ignoring the complains.

Despite of some flaws, I think Joymax is going a great job!

And if you can't take it anymore, why not take a break? :)

I think the main problem is that many people like Silkroad and want to continue playing it. But they feel Joymax is not pulling its weight for the amount of cash that gets pumped in through Silk purchases.

In that instance, it isn't a simple case of "don't play if you don't like it". It's Joymax they don't like, not Silkroad.

people complain because they feel their voices aren't getting through to the GMs and game developers. Through complaints people start noticing, and when enough people complain, eventually action is usually forced. Botting reports might not do anything anymore, but then again, usually the GMs pay attention to massive ones (like the visit to Pooprscoopr) and past bans. So I say if you feel snubbed, complain!!! If you sit on your asses all day, nothing will get done. I'd rather have a group of people who complain and within them some annoying whining people than a passive group that just accepts the problems that exist for what it is.

Fine, Ok. if you HAVE to complain then why fill every silkroad forum with your complaints? Send them to joymax and leave it at that!

And on that note, i am leaving this thread at that. You can continue posting your thoughts if you want but i cant be bothered.

Aye. Obviously it's something that should be discussed on a forum when so many people feel so strongly about it, but I also agree that people shouldn't go overboard. One or two topics is adequate, because things just tend to get repeated all over the place otherwise.

I agree they arent just sitting around doing nothing, but seriously they could be doing a better job with banning bots, I mean 10 or so bots per server every 2 weeks was to much? They stopped banning them all together apparently, the game really sux to actualy play, cus they are everywhere, crowding and ksing.

The not buying silk thing, yea I doubt that will help, we know they read the forums, they know what we think and whats goin on, for what reason they havent acknowledged it I duno, wich is probaly why most ppl thihnk they arent doing anything,

It's not so that i'm unhappy with all they do. they just could do better. Why work on Europe now when u've not even perfectly completed the older version. The same problems will emerge in europe to..

What JM needs to do is actually listen, and reply to users. Not all, that's impossible, but they need to give feedback or the whining will continue.

They're acting like some solid lagging not responding fortress right now, that's no way to deal with paying customers.

If any other company would deal with they're paying customers in the exact same way... damn they would be bankrupt pretty fast.

No I don't think they are sitting and waiting for the bucks to fall. If SRO exist in 5 languages, THEY decided to do it. If they launch europe before china is even finished, THEY WILL HAVE DECIDED IT.

My point is : why start new things while obviously existing part is a beta version that needs constant attention ?

Agreed. you see ? we're not opposed on the whole thing :D

This is only for the symbol. They're reading these forums and it's only meant to be a message. PPL actually stopping to buy silk will represent probably peanuts in the total, but it's supportive to the message

1. Clean out existing stuff (including new hacking threat)
2. Then develop new stuff

Optional that would be welcome : get out of this ivory tower impression you give to customers.

First paragraph, nothing to comment on.

Second paragraph. Joymax only runs in fact, this sro, they licensed out the publishing for all the other ones. All they have to do, is updates, then general GM stuff for ONLY ISRO.

Third. It's full release now, they get paid for the game by us people in isro through item mall. They also got paid A LOT when they licensed out the other versions. Some of the bugs are just irresponsible for such a large company (talking mostly about the site, the game isn't too buggy.)

Fourth. If they don't check the lists that are spammed at them, it's their own damn fault they don't have near as many botters banned.

Five. Yes, you're right, they got plenty of money from other sources, so us in Isro not buying from item mall would be useless pretty much, and would just slow our own chars down.

I would rather have no events, and 80 cap in a month or two, and get botters out of the cave. That and my compensation event

The single biggest thing they need is CUSTOMER SERVICE.

No way to directly contact and have ANY chance of an answer. Can't e-mail them only bug report.

Only 3 GMs for 12 servers. There is NO way that 3 people can police 12 servers 24 hours a day. But seeing how these GMs get slammed by forum posts and globals I have no idea who would want to even be a GM. Most of the stuff that GMs are blamed for are the developers fault/problem not theirs.

As for CCFers - Once a card is used for CCF ban the card. Few people will CCF more than a few times if EVERY card is banned. Banning the account is kind of a joke as they will just open a new account.
Gave in to the force of rationallity. Uninstalled this bot infested game and never looked back.
Now I just play in the OTL and my old guild forum.

Then they will just steal another CC#?
They are selling them for $1 per number on so many sites, they have thousands.
