To get someone to res you is the right way to scream REEEEESSS!?

If someone screams that then sometimes they'll get a res and sometimes they won't. it depends on who's around.

Personally I don't care what they say/scream so long as they say thank you afterwards, although I find 20 messages in 10 seconds somewhat over top.

I'm getting to a point now that if I see someone dead on the ground and they don't say anything then I won't bother. Why? I've had too many occasions where I've gone up to res them and I get no respone i.e the player is not there to select yes to the res.

I de-lvled my force mastery from lvl 20 something to 0 because of them! but its even worse now. I say i cant because i dont have the res skill and they start begging! What part of "i cant" dont they understand?

it all depends, if I am on my horse, no. I am not getting off my horse, that costs me money to ress someone. If I am trading, and I see someone dead on the ground, yes, I will ress them.

It's annoying when they keep on spamming it. So therefore, I don't res them.
The people who just ask "Can someone ress me please?" once in a while and don't spam it all the bloody time, I don't mind ressing, I even get off my horse for it.

I hate it but I usually res them anyway because well, I have the skill, why put it to waste right?
What annoys me even more is how a lot of them can yell out "res me" so many times, yet can't even type out "TY" at least once.

I don't expect them to throw themselves at my feet and saying 'Omg thank you thank you thank you my hero!" 93147104931743 times, but if they can't even be assed to say ty, I usually say something like "Thank you RuYi, for saving my crappy life!" So much for grattitude! -.- and move on.

They get res if they know how to ask it nicely, screaming only results as no.

Can't really understand how foreigners (non-speaking) understand "REEEZZZZZ" but not "Sry, don't have"

lolz i just res them and go. who cares if they ask nicely or not or if they say thx. Im not losing much.

Check my sig, if you ask ress like that, I'll ress you. If you yell RESSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS I wont ress you. And if youre name/guild name contains VN or TR I wont ress by default, dont even ask.

Resssssssssssss at tigers / chakji is so common, and fun to see the people die. They can walk back having learned not to grind where we trade.

But if they spam the whole chat, i would just type out: Don't res this guy or he will kill you.

I met a person who is suited in trader's flag/ I thought he is carrying goods so i just left him alone. A while later he is still there grinding on earth ghost. I was like: WTF training on trader suit?

Then spawn a giant earth ghost. He had it first so i left him alone. He died in 5 seconds (OMG what he is doing?) I killed the giant and he asked me to res. I told him i have no skill in which he replied

RES OR I F*** YOU MOTHER'S MAILBOX

OMGWTF No skill, how am i going to res him???? He thinks i am a God?

It's a force skill (rebirth art series), which allows you to resurrect people up to a certain level.

If I happen to see a dead person who is asking nicely, I will res them. Sometimes I will res a random dead person even if they're not asking, but I usually find they are AFK so I don't normally bother. If someone constantlyl spams the chat with "RESSSSSSSSSSSSSS" I will just ignore them and move on.

It annoys me though when I do go out of my way to res someone and they don't even bother to say "ty", especially if I had to, say, get off my horse, or fight off the person's giant spawns and group of mobs that happen to be on top of them first. I mean should I just res the person underneath a giant and let the giant 1-hit him if he doesn't pot himself quick enough? I'll at least be nice enough to get the giant or other mobs aggro on me first before I res so the person has time to heal.... but a "ty" can't hurt.

I was actually responding to the poll, not to you. However, to answer your question, if it wasn't already, yes there is a skill in the force menu called Soul Rebirth Art (2nd and 3rd books I think might be called different). Level your Force tree to lvl 17 (I think) then you can add the soul rebirth art skill. Then when you want to res someone, hold SHIFT, click the person, and right click the soul rebirth art skill (or hit the number for it if you have it in quick slot).

The person you res has to click yes to accept your res, but if they do, they'll stand up.

haha I've considered doing that a few times. It's tempting to send my wolf after the person I ressed if they don't say thanks.

I love the morons that I ress, and then they ks every monster afterwards. Third time that happened to me, I left the area, only to get a pm 5 minutes after he had ksed my last monster...he died. I sat on his dead body and spammed LOL on him

people who scream out "res" over and over again incessantly don't get anything from me. If you say it every couple minutes that's fine, but not every ten seconds so it clouds up what's being said.
