Sosun and SoM are like very common in JSRO...when i went there...didn't even saw anyone w/ SoStar, just SoM and SoSun...prob is...they can't understand me when i try to pm them >.<

and i even saw a sos +3 lvl 16 bow for only 300k...*sigh*
We should get loads of Som and Sosun drops in ISRO so as prices will go down, and ppl stop hacking other ppl coz there's plenty for everyone...
anyway, there are so many players in ISRO...gotta increase probability of SoX drops...

kk just to let yall know, you can have both versions installed, Save entire ISRO file to D; drive, and then download and install JSRO in to C: Program Files
It lets you have both installed, saves all SS'S from both in their respective folders.

Nice pictures. I want that blade in the first picture! By the way, where do you download the clients for the localized versions of SRO, like ksro or jsro? I was looking around ksro's website and can't seem to download it or register.

I have been playing on JSRO for about three days now, lvl 15 so far.
I am playing on Oasis if anyone wants to join in etc.. Actually, for 3 days now I haven't even spoken a word to anyone, lol.
Toss me a PM if anyone wants to play etc.. :-)

I tried playing iSRO but evidently they have a block on JP ips, I can't even load the website.

Where do you download the jsro client, and register an account? I also want to try ksro.

To register, click on the link below, and enter your email address, then click the Button, it sends you the activation to your email.

https://secure.silkonline.jp/member/gameon/reg_mail_form.asp?isp_kind=5

Next when you click on the the activation link, it will ask for your desired login name, password (input twice) then Your Birthdate (Year, Month, Day)
It will ask for a location in a drop down menu, you can pick any, but I always choose Tokyo, because that's where I am.
It will ask for a security question, then answer. Just remember the answer has to be letters and numbers, it also is a set length (I think it was either 6 or 8 long).

I think that's it?

Oh, for download go to

http://www.silkonline.jp/preparation/download.asp

and click the HTTP link in middle of page for http download, or ftp for ftp download.[/url]

Thanks for the instructions. I'm downloading the client now for jsro. Does jsro have more features and whatnot than isro? I understand ksro is ahead of isro.

Well, I've never played ISRO due to the fact, it won't let me go to silkroad.net to even download the client, but from my understanding Korean version and Japanese Version get everything first before the International version, as a sort of test...
Japanese servers are very mellow though, not too many people due to the fact that Lineage 2 and Final Fantasy is so big here.
This is actually my first time playing, I had wanted to play with some friends on ISRO, but IRSO blocked Japanese IP's perhaps?

I believe (but am probably wrong) that isro blocks japan, china, vietnam, and maybe another country or two since they have localized versions. I know isro DOES block vietnam.

I tried downloading the jsro client from the link you gave me, but it is transferring at about 3kb/sec. I'll try it again later.

If you want I can download it again and torrent it or such?

Ahh, try the ftp version, if that doesn't work for you I can torrent it.

For some reason, the HTTP link is downloading MUCH faster. Should be fully downloaded in about an hour

Well I downloaded JSRO and it runs nice. The only problem I'm having now is my C:\Program Files\Silkroad folder is gone, so no more iSRO. I told the installer to put JSRO under C:\Program Files\JSRO\Silkroad, which it did, but it seems to have deleted my iSRO installation :( Hopefully it will work if I reinstall iSRO to get both clients on the same system.

By the way, what's the NPC on the south side of the Jangan fountain? He looks like the herbalist.
