Hey all ive been using this awesome site to help me along my silkroad trip with guides and character skills so i havent really needed to ask a question till now hehe, apologies if the post is a bit long


I just recently reached lvl 62 and currently training on power/strong earth ghosts and im having quite a difficult time as they seem to be doing between 1.4-1.6k dmg each hit now throughtout my silkroad adventure i have always been garment since i always knew that i would have lots of hp and Physical defense to pretty much last me throughtout the game so at around late 50;s i spent a lot of money pimping my full 7th degree garment set

made them all +3 with +200hp and +5 str etc only problem is as ive said im having lots of trouble grinding at power ghosts esp if a giant spawns would armour make such a big difference to warrent me to dump my garment set or is there somethin else wrong cause i should be able to tank them right could it be because my jewellery % are a bit lagging behind ?

501 Physical Defense +24 from ICE barrier
810 Magical Defense
11,128 hp
105% Physical Balance
39% Magical Balance

Grind Yetis, or ghost bugs till 63/64.

yeah, you should wait till 64 and get 8th degree weapon (+5 or better hopefully).Then you can kill them alot faster which also means you take less dmg.Kill bugs in first room for now.

You have a hard time as a full str ? God, what should we say as int...
Anyway the advices are good, wait for your new weapon

This is normal. The caves are tough at first. Thats why you see a lot of people switching to armor at that level. When I first started grinding those, I died about once a day in my protector set, and had to use vigors to fight groups of mob. It gets easier.

If you wanna do those mobs, try putting together a cheapo armor set.

Otherwise, wait until higher level.

Wow. I don't know what to say to a str that is having trouble.

Switch to prot?
As an int I mainted a set of cheap garms and nice prot for the caves.
