may be theres something to do with your cpu or video card....
try uninstall the video card drivers, and re-install the latest ver. driver and Direct X as well.
as for the cpu. did u overclock your cpu?? sometimes when you overclock your cpu, it will runs fine in windows, but once you jump into a game or something, it will just crash and restart your computer. don't overclock your cpu too much, try lower it a bit.
try these two first, if it still doesn't work, then format your computer. if it still happens, buy a new computer

ok, go to http://www.microsoft.com to download the latest ver. of Direct X
and go to your Video card's website and download the latest ver. driver (i know what video card you are using, so i can't give u the website for that)
then, install your latest ver. of Direct X you've just downloaded. now this one is done.
then go to control panel, add or remove programme, select your video card driver and click remove, go through all those "are you sure you want to remove the selected....blah blah blah "
restart your computer....then install the new video card drivers u just downloaded. go through those blah blah blah.....all done and run SRO, see if it works....
since you saying you don't know anything about computer, i assume you didn't touch any setting of overclocking your cpu, so just leave it as it is.
as for formatting your computer, is a bit hard to tell you how to do it when u know nothing about computers, so, if after all those steps above and your computer still restarts when playing SRO, get someone who knows about computer to help u to do the formatting.
hope this helps ya

if you really really really want a new computer, just doing something to the cpu fan and make it stop spinning, then you're computer will overheat in no time and burnt.....hahaha......then your family just have to buy you a new one....lolz......
just kidding.....try fix it first, see how it goes

my game crashes and cpu restarts all the time when i play silk.
and i have played several other games non ever crash.
my specs are good so its not my comp im not sure wat it is.
and its a new comp too.
im tired of every1 saying update driver cards i know so many players that do that and the same shit happens. I think joymax is using ati/geforce as an excuse for the crashes
