My guildies and I find it an enjoyable evening to all just gther 1* transports and make the journey from one side of the map to the other (Jangen to Hotan, Hotan to Jange) repeatedly. Good way for decent money, not getting bothered by player thieves, etc. Good way to just kik back in SRO and enjoy the "company" of friends over voice chat. We're all friends in real life, so there's plenty to chat about.

Ok, onto the story. So two of us are trading with 1 stars and we are trotting along, heading towards the docks from Jangen. We see ffftthh nd their soul mate qwertyuiop. Both are follwing the same path and making the exact same strikes at the mobs, healing at the same time, etc. So I decide to spice things up. I'm no badass or anything but let's face it...NPC thieves from lvl 65 traders are lvl 64, regardless how tough or weak the trader is. So anyhoo, I circle them for a bit and my thief pops up and starts attacking my horse. A few seconds later, the bots come charging over and attack. The thief obviously one-hits them and they are gone. Unlike players, when they get killed, they don't even hit the ground; the immediately disappear.

So last night I was wrapping up an eventful day and opted to take a solo trip with a 1 star. There at the same location were a group of bots. It was hilarious because it was like Lemmings. So, I did the same thing. They chased after him in a single file and one by one they got plucked off the map.

Ah well. Might not be funny for some, but was enjoyable for me. So there you have it...my reversed 1 star popping...of sorts.

using npc thieves to kill 1* traders

I think he knows what 1 star means, he was just using it to kill bots. i think thats a great idea man lol
when im higher lvl than the botters (nuking for 3k damage) i might do that

Technically....

The definition would be killing traders. These are most assuredly gold bots. Gold bots harvest gold to be sold (ie; traded for money). I used a 1* to "pop" them. So, if one would so choose to break down the chemistry of it all...I suppose I meet those requirements.

lets not argue over what the usage of the phrase means

yea but bot/trader whole different things u cant say 1* pop when ur npc thief kills a 2* player because its not 1*.
so the gold bot doesnt have a 1* so u cant say 1* pop =p

its not about whether the victim has something related 2 gold or not,but them actually having a 1 * trade animal

I do that a lot on the noob bots at the ferry. I killed this one bot two times and she kept coming back, but on the third try, she doesn't attack the thief anymore. I think some bots have the option not to attack a thief. I dont think she was a gold bot either.

Glad to see that the majority seem to appreciate my pseudo "1* popping" activities. Except for XuChu that is. I'm hoping he enjoyed my "spawning npc thieves to kill bots" story.
