Where do the Oo[Names]oO in silkroad come from?

I remember seeing a whole bunch of people named OoThisoO and OoThatoO (not not this and that but fill in the words) and was wondering where does that name style come from? I've also seen lots of variations as well. I've been wondering this for a while.

not true i have XxThisxX that and im not a botter. Besides how would that even make sense? oh u decide to name XxThisxX and so ur a botter? y is everyone called a botter these days for random things doesnt make sense...

Just IMO but every player with nicks like o0xxxxxx0o i have seen on Aege is a botter, even some ppl have bought some of them and actually plays with them, what a shame

They are most likely Chinese gold Farmers..
Seen this in Lineage 2
Oos were the biggest botters and farmers... in caves and dungeons!

It's a lot better than the buggers who use ungodly combinations of letters and numbers, upper and lowercase, and underscores in their names. Like how the Sam Scratch are you supposed to type all of that to talk to them? x.x

Moogie they don't want you to talk to them. They don't want you to be able to get the name right and report them. The harder the name the less likiely a bot report is successfully made.

In oasis there is a bunch of botters with o0randomname0o here,
and a guild names osoka that supports botters, including but not limited to the gm botting

most people with matching names are botters from what I've seen.
Like they take the same name, and switch one vowel, and train together and everything. I think its one person with two bots.

i agree that the Xx___xX is just cause the name was taken but its just getting ridicilous i saw a xXx____xXx and i think once i saw xxxx_____xxxx
but not all are botters cause my best friend's name has Xx____xX

This is real popular with Asian-Americans from what I notice. Perhaps it all started on AsianAvenue or even earlier.
A lot of them also make their AOL screen names like that too. This is Asian-American FOB culture (even though they may not actually be a real FOB, it's just 'cute' to do). They also like to tYpe LikE thIS and like to replace "meeh" for all pronouns referring to themselves.

Its been around forever on the internet.When I got my first PC 6 years ago I remember seeing names like that in different chat rooms and whatnot.I always thought it was lame and unoriginal.

Oo__oO {and similar} are known bots on Athens. Nuke bots, several just moved up from bunwangs...can finally kill there again without getting ksed by the splash from a light-nuke bot.

Either you Push the Quote button that's on the right, upperside of the reply or you type
And, btw, how do you explain the guilds that are XxnamexX? Are their names taken to? lawl.
Anyway, if the name is taken, then it's taken. Oh well, I guess that everyone is not trying to be original. Eventhough BloodSeeker is a nice nick.

I see lots of players in cSRO with that on their names also, same thing with pSRO...Probably it makes them feel special, just like it feel special by italicizing all my text and using the color pink in most of my posts.
