We all come to a point, or rather, many points during our gameplay where we suddenly (or even gradually) achieve something we can feel proud about ourselves for. It may be reaching a particular level, being able to kill a certain type of monster, being able to wear a particular armour set, etc. Whatever was your Latest Greatest Achievement, post it below.


My personal latest achievement came today, around 20 minutes ago.

Hunting along the road from Jangan to the ferries, I happened across a newbie thief taking some goods from the road, and his friend, another thief considerably higher level judging by the Blue Moon Glaive he was weilding. I stopped at them, reluctant to initiate combat with a lv42+ Glaive weilding Str build... me being a lv43 Int would surely have no chance against him in PvP if he were to get an attack in first.

However... it seems I was wrong. Spotting me nearby, and evidentally judging me as a threat to their safety, the 42+ quickly charged and threw his spear at me with such force I barely noticed I was still alive. Mashing the HP pot, I threw myself forward with my most devistating attacks- an imbued shot of Snow Storm-Ice followed by a hefty thwack with a Soul-Spear Truth. A few more hits, a playful spin, and to my absolute suprise... he went down! I had actually killed a Str build Blue Moon Glaive user, and I couldn't have been more than 1 level above him at most.

Sheer joy and pride filled me. I proceeded to happily take down the newbie thief's horse and then the little dude himself. I ressed him after and let him on his way.


Thus from this day forth, I can proudly proclaim that I am able to down a Str build character with a Blue Moon Glaive without getting pwned first myself. It is the first time in my character's life that such a thing has been possible, and I consider it my Latest Greatest Achievement.

Now I'm skeered since I'm a str glaiver!

I finally did a trade run... with a help of moogie and Dem...

Greatest moment.. probably also from today. I was fighting with one demon horse when I saw 2 players attacking against horse giant. I continued with my killings but kept view on the giant. That couple got soon 2-3 demon horse adds to that fight and when the first person who was tanking hit the ground I pondered if I could help them.

I started my rush there and the 2nd person died just when I got there. So it was me against giant + 2 other demon horses, again in situation where I had died several times before. In slight panic I ignored the giant and went after the adds - started my combos against first horse and simultanously targeted one dead player there. When the horse was frozen I hit resurrect and got one player back to life. At the same time I was spamming hp pot button just to stay alive. After first demon horse was dead, I swapped to 2nd and again resurrected the other player there when the horse was freezed. Now the odds were turned to our favor and we could easilly finish the giant as well. Accomplishing from that situation made me happier and gave me enough strength to finish that horse shoe quest.

Not doubting you or saying that wasn't good or anything, but what makes you so sure he was PURE str? He could have just been a hybrid using a glavie. But then again I wasn't there so i can't really say anything, but you never know with thieves.

Greatest and worse moment would have been last night (1 star trade run) ... only a LvL 21 Str / Fire / Glavie Build ... did my frist trade run ... Jangan to Dawhang ... along the way I helped out two other caravans ... giving Rezing one group of unfortunates and lending them transports to continue the journey ... after getting to Dawhang I though I'd go back to Jangan before I head off to bed ... along with my horse I get to the Jangan side ferry ... help out a few traders in that area ... but near the black / white Tiger area I get wacked by a high lvl thief with his bring NPC theif gliche' trick.... >sigh< ... oh well ... I'll try it again tonight ...

And yes I was going solo ...

I finally got 1500 SP. Last night =)

First time i completed a trade run.

My latest greatest achievement is finally having a full 3rd protector set with good stats =)

I just killed 200 bowmen in just under one hour. It is so boring I just wanted to do it as fast as possible, so I put Metallica on repeat and just grinded away.

Finished collecting Demon Horseshoes - alot faster than i was thinking it was going to take.... Now for the gun powder ghosts....

Of course I can't be totally sure that he was pure Str, but I delt over 4k damage to him before he died. I didn't even see him use a HP Pot, which now that I think about it, was a bit odd. O.o

Congrats on everyone's achievements, give yourselves a pat on the back and feel proud. ^^

finished my first solo trade run tonight without getting popped.. some player thiefs were following me but i think i was scaring them cuz i was i shotting things that they took 2 to kill

Did 3 runs from Jang to Hotan trade run with Union.
I suck at taking screenies so I took none. All 3 runs were all 5 star traders.

A great achievement for me is that i made about 2 million when we had the JEWEL BOX event, for some reason the event made everyone in the marketplace go crazy, selling this and that. And plus so much people were buying jewel boxes, and found so much of them, so I took advantage of the situation .

Another achievement is that I saw row after row of people from this forum, running this way and that, which is great to see that your not alone in the game and actually know some people that can relate to ya.

mine would be killing uruchi, best day in silkroad ever. until maybe when i get to lv52, almost there after all this time lol.

my greatest achievement happened last week.

i was taking a bit of a break from the ENDLESS questing at the lvl40-ish mark with a relaxing bit of thieving. BlackHand has several lower lvl members now, and they're excellent to use as scouts in the ferry areas since that's where they're killing chakjis and tigers and whatnot. one of them mentioned that there was a 3-camel multi-star run heading down the hill to west ferry with 2 hunters and 3 traders all 32+-42+. i was in the area, so i figured i'd check it out.

when i got there i noticed it was a guild run by one of the mid-lvl viet guilds (can't remember which off the top of my head). the two hunters were in their mid 40s by their gear and the traders were all in the 30s. they hadn't seen me yet as i was hiding in the bamboo. i glanced at my zerk bar. full.

i decided that if i could take down the bow-weilding hunter in the back before he knew i was there i might be able to live long enough to win in a fight against the glaive user in the front. i got in range, started to nuke, and popped off my zerk right as the attack was firing.

dropped the hunter in one hit. must have been an int bow user. this gave me heart. all the traders were still on their camels. i streaked up to the front hunter and launched a lightning nuke at him followed by a quick flying dragon spear. total of about 4k dmg. he didn't drop. i was a little worried now. he got in range, zerked up, and we both got off a soul spear-truth at the same time, and both hit. mine stunned him, his did NOT stun me. this gave me a few secs to pot away the 2.5k dmg he did me (which left me near death i have to say) and launch another volley of nukes. before he was even able to recover from the stun, he was down.

i wasted no time. turned and began taking out the nearest camel. glanced at my zerk bar - 3 bars left, it was all happening so fast! the first camel was down before the other traders could even get off of theirs. a lightning nuke took out the first one that got to me and did a decent amount of dmg to his mount as well. another flying dragon - soul spear combo took out the final trader, and i spent the rest of my zerk mauling their transports. it was pure carnage by the time my zerk ran out. i was standing in the middle of a huge pile of loot and a field of dead bodies.

i threw up a harmony circle to keep the tigers out while i waited the brutal 20 secs to summon a transport, all the while looking over my shoulder for wandering hunters. i popped out my camel and started loading up on the choicest goods i could find, all the while spamming guild chat telling my fellow BlackHand thieves to come and clean up the mess i had left :) a soon as i had a full 5-star camel, i teled and made a run for the nearest dense cover.

i patiently waited out the endlessly long thief den tele while literally battling for my life and that of my camel against what seemed to be an endless stream of orange and champion thieves - even one double spawn!! my tele finished just in time; my camel would have dropped in a few more hits, and i was almost out of pills and pots. i slowly rode up to the stolen goods master with my heart still pumping adrenaline through me, my hands shaking.

i sold off the goods for a whopping 89k (not a bad haul for a thief) and gained a net of 2% thief lvl2, also no slouch. but the real satisfaction came from the knowledge that i had just scored a huge victory against a superior force, and that i'd done it the right way - no cheats, no bugs, no abuse.

Sui, that rocks. You are indeed a force to be reckoned with. The sense of achievement you felt after that death-defying accomplishment must have been mindblowing- a wonderful feeling of self-worth that the cheaters, botters and abusers will never experience. It makes it all the more sweet knowing that, doesn't it?

My turn.....

1. I manage to set a record of leveling up from level 1 to lvl 20 in less than 16hours.... That when Athens open... (coz' my friend said his previous Guild Leader do it at 20hrs... so i take his challenge.. )

2. And yesterday i successfully upgraded a lvl 35 shield BR 14 to +3 & lvl 38 Bow Crit 9 to +3.... (I never get this lucky before..... )
