The story of a ring or don't mess when you get lucky!!!!!

At level 16, I bought an SOS goldring...
The name of the ring (The rise and fall of alchemy)
The ring had only the cold immunity. I created magic sone of INT and fuse it and OMG (+3 INT 100%) YEAH!!!!! YEAH!!!
I became greedy, created 3 stones of STR. I used the first, bummer!!!
Failure! I used the second
+1STR 0%). Finally, I used the third stone....
NO LUCK
Well, today I told my self, let's try agian (WHAT WAS I THINKING? STUPID? MORON?
)
I've created 2 magic stones of STR. Th first one failed! and the Second did it!!! YEAH....YEah...Yeah...yeah... AHHAAAAAAA
I wrote that the STR chnage from 1->1!!!!!
WHAT A WASTE!!!
Lesson 1:If you get lucky don't mess with it!
Lesson 2: Don't be greedy! +3 INT and +1 STR is good at any level!
Lesson 3: The benefit of rings that you can always keep one and enhace the other depending on your level
Lesson 4: After looking at other post of alchemy, you did get lucky, so don't mess with the ring, that's an order!!!!

Don't waste your elements on low level stuff
trust me someday later you will need them..
you are going to use this ring for a week max..
just keep'em when you get to the 8th degree items use them..

Thank you for you fast respnse. However, althought it may sound lame, i'm going to keep the ring even when i'll be level 6x. Currently, i'm level 25 heading to lvl 26. I have the jadeite ring and other relevant stuff. I invested in the ring a lot of time and effort, so I intend to keep it. In addition, I'm not obssessed with SOS stuff. I could have more, but I keep my money. Only got this one (who doesn't want at least one sos item?
).

You wont use it at lvl 60 rofl, otherwise you will take a lot more damage...

yup agree with chaud. At that time absorption of dmg can go as high as 17% each accessory. Compare that with your ring now. That's 12% more.

Lets look at a possible scenario with 8th degree ring.
500K Plain Ring
1.3m INT stone
1.3m INT stone
2.2m STR stone
2.2m STR stone
2.2m STR stone
2m to +5 on a bad day
600K ice stone
600K ice stone
600K ice stone
600K ice stone (and its still not 20%)
600K fire stone (eh one gets lucky)
600K electric stone
600K electric stone
600K electric stone
A possible 16.5m spent making a decent ring.
The next day you see a 64+5 ring with stats and 20% reduces sitting in a stall for 6-8m.

The exception is anything that you'd use for a L16 farmer.
I just bought 2 L16 sos rings for 200k each, L13 sos armor, L16 bracer. Gonna try and get a complete sos set for a L16 farmer and sell it!

OT: Don't mess with alchemy unless you're at gap, +5 or SOS. +3Int and +1 Str is great stats for that ring, gj.
Ryoko: Yeah you're right, instead of using those elements yourself, you'll make some nice profit selling 'em and later on buy yourself a neat weapon. :p

Thank you for resonses. Well, I have to admit the i didn't follow my own rules! what a jerk...
I've used two more magic stones of str lvl 3 and got nothing.
You are correct that in higher levels i will need new rings.
