ok it is getting to my attention that people are summoning thunder bow thieves just to kill others other day i was dressed in degree 1 and some guy came up to me and it had a around 4X thief following it and he jumped next to me trying to kill me but then he went of to some other guys killing them at instant.
then i realised wat was going on.

i mean "why do people do this?" how does it even benefit them it only becomes a pain to the others doing themselves no good either.

hes saying sumone who is trading or thiefing waits for a thief to spawn that uses bow and lightning imbue then runs close to lower lvls and the bounce from the lightning imbue kills the person. sum ppl do it to be jerks i guess? lol

Ok I think i no wat he's trying to say the spash from a\a thiefs spawn of a thief with a lightning imbue dmg will come on to you hence thunder bow thiefing I Think?

how powerful are those theives? i am getting killed often by them at chakijis. 1 shot killing me. I am level 22 and it takes only 1 shot. Are they that powerful?

its useful in 1* popping if the trader is dismounted, sometimes you can take him out with the splash damage before your NPC even spawn.

another use is for taking out meddling noobs, one time this low trader kept attacking my horse so I had to kill him eventually, but another low lvl kept ressing him and he would get back up an continue to attack the horse. It was annyoing and gettin unnecesary AP points, luckily a lightning archer spwned so I aggro it an stood next to the resser and ended that little episode.

TBH, it's funny as hell.

I've done it just once and I was literally about to die from laughing so hard. Sure it's evil, retarded, or whatever else you want to call it. It's still funny as hell though. I just love all of the after-death PMs received from it, makes for good times. And just as a fyi, no it wasn't my NPC theif, it was some lazy 1*s who didn't bother to kill it.

The same goes for NPC theiving outside of gates with HT. Just something about seeing 15+ people die in one shot and others running for theif life screaming "Help Plz" that just makes you smile.

Maybe I'm just twisted.

Depends on the trader/thief who ever leads the transport. NPC thiefs will be around there lvl. So if that is lvl 40ish, you get lvl 40ish thiefes. Those will be able to 1 shot you yeah.

If you are killing chakjis i suggest going something away from the ferries if this bothers you.

It's dam fun, i do it at the den when one of my guild mates who's farming complains about ksers and wipe out the whole community that isnt in my union/friends of people in my guild

Lightning imbue / 2* upto den, break it up, take out a lvl20 trade horse and it goes to 5*.. then just let the fun begin...

If any of you want to try it out, lightning imbue far more effective coz a lot of the time all the thieves kill 2 or 3 players and then run for you unless you're dead or running 10 miles away on a horse/phantom walk

Hmm, why would you dress in 1st degree clothing? I'm assuming your higher level and tried out 1st degree. Theres nothing you can really do about it lol, just stay away from players like them.

ppl dress in low lvl gear to either lame around at the pvp spots or are to lame to wear a thieve suit when thieving

back on aege some schmuck was doing outside west gates... i run out and i see him run right towards me with the thief behind i just ran back inside *thank god to grasswalk* and laughed at him. Then newbies run out i tell them dont... did the listen? nope run out and bam lightning splash=their doom, and then guess what they start doing? you guessed it, "resssssss" argh... but cause it was funny, i started running out and ressing the dead, but the guy sees me and tries to get me again lol it was fun and i didnt die, i ressed like 10 people... some people twice cause they didnt go back to town and went to fight mangyangs... lol

I do it, but its much cooler finding multistars near hotan than running around in jangan popping lowbies
