As stated in the title. I played this game back in 06 to 07 I think. Then I played a couple of pservers as well. I'm probably just bored now and will stop playing in a week or so. Anyway, two questions I have:

1. Is it still hard to login like back in 2007 where we have to buy premiums just to play?
2. Which server has the least bots with the most active players?

To jump straight to your questions:
1. No, things have changed quite a bit. These days, it's always easy to login.
2. This 100-cap official Silkroad server that we're talking about here: viewtopic.php?f=2&t=136176

You can download that version of the game here: http://silkroad-r.jcplanet.com/
Be sure to register a JC Planet account. If you do so, you get 100k silk for free, and start with 1-9 degree Seal of Sun weapons. Not a bad deal


Also, Silkroad-R is quite a bit different from the Silkroad you played many years ago. A good idea would be to read up on some guides by doing a few Google searches on "Silkroad-R".

Hmm. Noticable change. The skill tree for chinese is not showing how many masteries I can upgrade. It's like 5 per level?

I'm also getting back on after being a former 2006 player. SRO-R is patching right now. Should be interesting.

It's definitely a ghost town, but Jangan is understandable I suppose. It took me awhile to figure out how to get arrows without any gold #newb

With a JCPlanet account though, it's pretty OP to get D1-9 SoSun Weapons on character creation and some other buffs.

You do know that silkroad atm is paytoplay and paytowin...
And also 99% of the players are afk botting.

Seeing exposed botters section weren't they always doing it ? it got new content like areas and stuff, right ? pay2win is always an issue if game have items that help upgrade your gear.
