Hey Silkroad players,

My name is Z and I used to be a Silkroad player many years ago. I first started on Babel, led a small guild named Holy. But then years later I joined Venus under the name Friends, became a part of the Avalon legit movement, and started the Fable union. We had some really good times together with the Avalon and BH guilds.

However, what many people didn't know was that I was actually on my deathbed at the time. I was 18 years old when I started Fable, and I was told I was going to die due to a very severe illness. I was in the hospital, with not much hope left to achieve anything. But, despite losing touch with all my real life friends, I made tons of new friends through playing Silkroad. With everyone's help, I grew to be more and more optimistic with my condition, and eventually, I actually recovered from it.

I now run a video game development company. We're located in Boulder, CO, USA. I gave a TEDx speech about my journey just a couple months ago and I'd like to share it with everyone who's still playing the game!

glad you didnt pass, away. Shame the game is nothing like the old days but glad the legit movement meant something more than a few people JUST playing a game.

I remember you! We played together for a short time in tsro and in a private server I think.

I remember you (atleast I think it was you) wrote a nice guide about "making your life in SRO easier". I couldn't find it anymore. It was really nice written with stuff about keeping the friends list updated, how to level quickly and making gold and such stuff. Probably from venus times. I really would like to read it again.^^

This is crazy. I was sitting at work today and I started discussing the silk road in Asia and the middle east. Made me think of SRO. Old school here. Hope everyone is doing well.

I've had that happen to me a couple of times too. People get surprised when I mention random Silk Road facts :p
