+12 and D8?

(SRO-R)

I am so confused.
For you who play on Gobi (if any), you might've seen Priceless
http://www.rev6.com/player/Gobi/priceless.html
(Used to be spear until just recently o.O)
He/she claims to be the strongest 9D character on the server. Wether this is true I don't know, but that's irrelevant :P
I have a lvl 83
http://www.rev6.com/player/Gobi/Nukes.html
and I of course strive to be as strong as Priceless or even stronger :)
Thing is, I'm kinda bad at this alchemy thing, I've never alchemized anything higher than +7 (with B elixirs  ) and I realize that to even compete with the stronger players I really should try to make my weapons like +10, something similiar on my shield (Shield B elixirs are so expensive  ) and my set to like +6 (which I think I can accomplish :))

At first I tried buying immortal/astral stones for normal silk, but soon realized it becomes way too expensive to rely on, and after asking around some players on how they managed to make their weapon +10, I've come to known that most ppl just try ahead, hoping to get +8 without advanced and if it breaks they just buy a new one.

Well, for starters, 10D moon weapons costs approximately 20m-40m(?), and that together with the cost of elixirs, lucky powders, lucky stones etc. my 140m gold pile wont last very long.

Soo, I have a few questions, and any tips on getting that +10 are greatly, greatly appriciated!
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
(I know about the premium PLUS, I will get that at some point  )

1, How does it work?
Is the maximum possible "+" for a weapon/shield/armor/acc +12? Does this vary between different degrees?

2, What should I bare in mind trying to make my 10D sword +10? Lucky stones, powders, lucky dress and so on... and should I try for more than +10 or is it too unlikely?

3, How hard is it really to get +10? I can't afford buying new weapons over and over every time it breaks, and I can imagine 10D weapon elixirs goes for 400k-600k each, which means I'll end up spending alot on them too  .

I know things change at higher levels, Novas, Magics, Rares and Legends, but I doubt I'll have the patience to ever reach that level  so I'll tackle that issue when it comes.

Thank you if you read this far, even more thank you if you can supply me with answers :)

On 1-10 degree items there is no plus limit. On 11d it is +15 and on 12d +12.

For a free to play game that has absolutely no end game, I find it humorous that people spend a shit ton of money on pretty worthless stuff.

Strive to be the best at a game that actually matters.

personally I see sros long hard leveling as It's game play I used to put it against them but making it so hard to hit cap gives us something to work for a constant goal, as for your d8 is stop at +9 same with d9
