Hello,
I was wondering why full str bowers pick garment, just cuz of the mag. def?
But if you fight againt monsters who are just phy. attck why would you need garment for?
Im now 6 degree and wearing protector, and dont know what to pick on 7th degree...?
Some advice?

Garment gives you magical defense, 20% less mp usage and 20% more speed.
You already have lots of physical defense as a pure str.

So in the first week in college i went with jeans and the pajama's shirt. Didn't notice what i was wearing till after i returned home.

Garment is the way to go, no need for prot or armor if you've got stacked physical def from pure str.
