Alchemy Enchantments

So when I make my weapons +7 I use elixirs and lucky powders to +5 then adv. elixir B, which I guess is the most common way people enchant their weapons.

But some people make like 9D weapons to +10 and such and I heard there was a way to make it only lose one + instead of being destroyed (or +4 if immortal/astral) but I thought that only applied to Rare's?

Could some-one clear this up for me, I really want to make my weapon more than +7 but I'd rather not spend real money on astral/immortal stones :(

The only way to make an item only lord one plus is using 12D immortal stones (only works on 12D obviously).

12D alchemy is way harder (and costs more) than the 1-11D alchemy.

Astral now gets a failed item to +5 not +4 (got updated a few weeks ago).

Alchemy is a luck game, special places, time zones, crowded servers make no difference.

So good luck but +7 is still decent and risk-free.
